Abstract

The device has an extendable and retractable handle shaft (1) comprising four segments (1a-1d) and a bottomless armature (2) at its base. A disposable bag is introduced in the armature and is maintained by a rubber band (3) which tightens edges of the bag on the armature. A restraint system (4) fixed at the segment (1a) is fixed with a ring (5) receiving the band and an articulation axle (6) permitting a folding/opening of the armature.

  The present invention relates to a device for collecting dog excrement without stooping, without unpleasant sensation of collecting, without dirtying hands, but in an environmentally friendly, non-polluting, non-messy, simple and easy way use.

  The daily output of animals is essential, it aims to provide exercise to animals, and allows them to do their needs. The masters educate their animals by having them done in the gutters or in the appropriate places, but that is not enough. Often, during the daily outing the animals do in the public places of the city and the countryside: sidewalks; gardens; walkways; shoulders, then their excrement strew these pedestrian parts and become a major inconvenience of pollution for people borrowing these same paths.

  Currently there are different systems of excrement collection, such as: - Plastic bags, where the user after picking up the excrement returns the bag to close it and throw it in a trash.

  Cardboard systems in the form of clamp boxes, replacing the user's hand, are supplemented by plastic bags, bags which are also returned after collection. Thus the excrements are collected without the user having the sensation of touching them.

  - Clamps attached to the end of a handle, by this means the user catches the excrement strewn on the ground, then throws them into a disposable bag.

  - Or, the collection can be done using a suction system, the excrement sucked directly into a disposable bag.

  Anyway, all these various gripping systems for the collection of faeces of animals do not remove everything, the soil remains unclean and even more so if the excrement of animals are inconsistent.

  The device according to the invention overcomes these major drawbacks at any time very easily and cleanly by collecting the excrement of animals of various consistencies.

  Another advantage and characteristic of the invention, the apparatus unfolds or folds, as necessary, in a few seconds.

  It has indeed according to a first feature, a handle consisting of four retractable and stretchable parts to adapt quickly and easily to the desired height of the user. At the base of the retractable handle is attached a strapping that supports the device to collect excrement, this device is composed of two superimposed rings and an elastic to facilitate the good maintenance of the bag when it is placed under the posterior of the animal to collect its stool. Once finished, the elastic is folded down which allows to partially close the bag, then simply tie the bag or tie it with a closure of his choice and throw it.

  Another feature of the invention, its storage is easily and quickly thanks to its retractable handle, and foldable base makes its size very small.

  With reference to these drawings, the device comprises a retractable and stretchable handle (1), which is composed of four tubular segments (la; lb; 1c; 1d), one of whose outer segments (la) is provided at its base device (2) of slightly oval shape and bottomless to introduce disposable bags. Then the inner segment (ld) is equipped at its upper end with a hole in its center to anchor the closure strap (7) of the retractable handle and the handle (8) to more easily transport the device in the closed position .

  According to Figures 1 and 2, they show that the retractable handle (1) is formed by 4 tubular segments (la; lb; le; 1d) sliding into each other each having a different diameter. We can notice that the diameter of the outer segment (la) is greater than (lb; 1c; ld), in fact the diameter of each segment becomes smaller and smaller as they get closer to the segment (ld) in the center.

  Another feature of the retractable handle (1), each segment (la; lb; le; ld) has its base curved outwards and its upper part bent inwards, except for (la) where the base is obstructed and (ld) where the upper portion is provided with an orifice for the handle (8) and the closure strap (7) to become anchored. For better support and rigidity of the handle (1) in the unfolded position, the segments (la, lb, lc, 1d) are each provided in their upper inner portion of a damping pad (10). This segment retention system makes them particularly integral with each other, and does not remove the simplicity and ease of folding and unfolding the device.

  According to Figures 3 and 3.1, they show that the device (2) for collecting dog excrement is composed of several elements. The strapping (4) is attached to the segment (1a) of the handle so that it is constantly held after the device. On the same strapping (4) there is permanently fixed a small ring (5) for receiving the elastic (3), said elastic allows to maintain the disposable bag on the frame (2) as shown in Figure 3.1. The device (2) for collecting the dog excrement is composed of two rings, of slightly oval shape, welded one above the other, the one below being smaller in diameter than the one above. This feature is intended to better maintain the bag with the weight of excrement when lifting the device earth and throw the bag with its contents. Then the hinge pin (6) attached to the hoop (4) and the device (2) for collecting the excrement is the hinge portion for folding or opening the device (2).

  The device (2) for collecting the dog excrement is presented 110 with a slight bias when it is placed under the rear of the animal at the time of receiving the stool.

  The device (2) can have different diameters to adapt to the morphology of animals, see 3 different sizes. As for the height of the handle (1) it can vary according to the need. If the user only needs the sections (la and lb) then he leaves inside the section (lb) the sections (1c and 1d), if he needs 3 sections, he leaves inside of the section (1c) the section (1d).

  Figure 4 shows the front device in unfolded use position.

  Figure 4.1 shows the hinge part (6) of the device. It is composed of 2 metal parts (6a) and (6b) assembled on a common axis (6c). The part (6a) is attached to the strapping (4), as to the part (6b) which is the movable part, it is fixed to the device (2), this part makes it possible to open or close the device (2) .

  Figures 5 and 6 show a front view and a side view of the device in closed outer position.

  Figure 7 shows the closure strap (7) in the open position and Figure 8 shows the closure strap (7) in the closed position. The strap (7) is provided with its bag (9) for accommodating disposable bags, and two pressures (7a) for holding in the closed position the frame (2) and the elastic (3) of the device. The strap (7) and the handle (8) are anchored in the upper part of the segment (1d) of the retractable handle (1) of the device to transport it more easily in the folded position.

  The bag (9) is held on the strap (7) with a seam (9c), and on the other edge of the strap (9b) and at the bottom of the bag (9b) a ribbon adhesive is attached to close or open the bag. The disposable bags are inserted into the bag by the opening (9a). There may be variants of bindings and shapes of the bag.

  Figure 9 shows an alternative anchoring of the strap (7) and the handle (8) in the upper part of the segment (ld) of the retractable handle of the device (1). Indeed, a hole in the horizontal direction can cross the segment (1d) in its upper part. Therefore, the attachment would be more central but lateral to the segment and the anchor would be in the opposite hole of the handle and the strap. This variant does not change the characteristics of the device

Claims (4)

  1) Device for collecting dog excrement characterized in that it comprises a retractable stretching handle (1) having at its base a bottomless frame (2) of slightly oval shape into which is introduced a disposable bag held by an elastic ( 3) gripping the edges of the bag on the frame (2).   2) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the stretch and retractable handle (1) is composed of four segments (la; lb; 1c; 1 d), the segment (la) is closed at its base, at the base of this segment is fixed a strapping (4) which maintains a ring (5) for receiving the elastic (3) and a hinge pin (6) for folding or opening the armature (2).   3) Device according to claim 1 or claim 2 characterized in that the extendable and retractable handle (1) is composed of four segments (la; lb; 1c; ld), the segment (ld) is provided with a hole in its upper part which is anchored to a strap (7) closing and a handle (8).   4) Device according to the preceding claim characterized in that the closure strap (7) holds the armature (2) and the elastic (3) in the closed position when the device is folded. The strap (7) is provided with a bag (9) into which disposable bags are stored.
