Abstract
Cet appareillage électrique comprend une chambre de coupure renfermant un gaz de coupure (G) sensiblement dépourvu de SF6 et de CF4, ainsi que des premier (10) et second (18) contacts d'arc, dont le déplacement entraîne la formation d'un arc électrique (26), alors qu'il est prévu au moins une paroi d'irradiation (22) propre à être atteinte par cet arc électrique.Au moins deux constituants appartenant à au moins un élément parmi le gaz de coupure, les premier et second contacts d'arc, ainsi que la ou chaque paroi d'irradiation, sont susceptibles de se décomposer sous l'effet de l'arc électrique, de manière à former des espèces décomposées (e1, e2) propres à se combiner au sein de la chambre de coupure, afin de former, avant l'extinction de l'arc électrique, au moins une nouvelle espèce gazeuse (G1) dont les propriétés diélectriques sont supérieures à celles de ce gaz de coupure (G).
