Abstract

On augmente la pression et la densité d'un mélange gazeux dans son processus d'introduction à l'intérieur de la chambre de combustion (15) d'un moteur atmosphérique à impulsions de détonation (10) utilisant l'oxygène atmosphérique comme oxydant.Une soupape de sortie (20) capable de s'ouvrir et de se fermer est placée à la sortie de la chambre de combustion (15), un refroidisseur d'air (12) est placé à la sortie de l'admission (11), et l'on augmente la densité dans le refroidisseur d'air (12) par échange de chaleur entre l'air reçu par l'admission (11) et un réfrigérant. De plus, en fermant la soupape de sortie (20) placée à la sortie de la chambre de combustion (15), pendant le processus de chargement du mélange gazeux, on permet une transition vers le processus de détonation sans dilatation de l'air à haute pression et haute densité obtenu par compression par un piston à l'endroit de l'admission (11).
