Abstract

BY MEANS OF AN ELASTIC INTERFACE
The present invention relates to the attachment of a cleaning textile to a mop head.

PRIOR ART
For the cleaning of surfaces, and more particularly for the industrial cleaning of the floors, cleaning textiles are used which are removably adaptable to broom heads. Depending on the manufacturer, these broom heads have various structures and especially very different formats. They are generally flat and rectangular. It may for example be broom heads made by means of plastic parts, or broom heads with metal frames.
Cleaning textiles can have a variety of properties. It may be cleaning textiles suitable for dust sweeping or the like, such as, for example, fringe-type cleaning textiles. Cleaning textiles may also have liquid absorbing properties and be provided for washing floors. They must in this case can be drained so as to express the used liquid absorbed during washing. Cleaning textiles can also have a variety of structures. The cleaning textiles are, for example, and non-exhaustively, formed of a textile base, for example woven or knitted, on which are fixed by any appropriate means (for example by tufting) bristles, loops, fringes, ...
In the present text, the terms textile cleaning are used in their most general acceptance, and designate any element, in whole or part textile, and allowing in general the cleaning of a surface, and whatever the structure and whatever the properties of this cleaning textile.
In order to allow a quick and removable assembly of a cleaning textile on broom heads of different sizes, it has already been proposed to date to produce cleaning textiles whose structure is elastic, and which are designed to be strung on the broom head. This technical solution is for example described in the international patent application WO 88/05642.
This solution of an elastic cleaning textile, however, has several disadvantages. It greatly complicates the production, and hence the cost of manufacture, of the cleaning textile. But the cleaning textile is a consumable that must be changed once used; it is therefore essential that its cost price be as low as possible. Also, this solution is unsuitable for cleaning textiles that must be dewatered.

OBJECTIVES OF THE INVENTION
The main objective of the invention is to propose a new technical solution which makes it possible to quickly and removably assemble all or part of a cleaning textile on broom heads that may have different formats, but which overcomes the disadvantages. of the aforementioned solution described in international patent application WO 88/05642.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The invention thus has for its main object an assembly which comprises a cleaning textile textile and a fixing system of this cleaning textile on a broom head, and which makes it possible to achieve the above objective. According to the invention, the fastening system comprises an interface which is distinct from the cleaning fabric, and which is resilient and adaptable to different broom heads; the interface and the cleaning textile comprise mechanical fastening means for rapid assembly and separation of at least a portion of the cleaning fabric and at least a portion of the elastic interface.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
Figures 1 to 4 appended represent a first embodiment of an assembly of the invention comprising a flat mop head 1, a cleaning fabric 3, and an elastic interface 2 completely separable from the mop head 1 and the textile cleaning 3.
The rectangular mop head 1 illustrated in these figures is not limiting of the invention, and is given by way of example only, the elastic interface 2 can advantageously be used with structures and / or formats and / or completely different broom head geometry. In particular, and in a non-exhaustive manner, the broom head could have smaller or larger dimensions, and / or the broom head could be made, for example, in the form of a metal frame, rather than under the shape of a plastic part such as in the particular example of Figures 1 to 4.
In the particular example of FIGS. 1 to 4, the cleaning fabric 3 comprises a rectangular textile base 3a, and long bristles 3b (fringes) which are fixed by any appropriate means known on the textile base 3a, being distributed over all the surface of one of the faces (bottom face of cleaning) of the textile base 3a. The textile base 3a can equally well be a woven, knitted structure, a nonwoven, .... The invention is not limited to the particular type of cleaning textile 3 of FIGS. 1 to 4, which textile makes it possible to soil sweeping, but applies to any known type of cleaning textile, and for example to cleaning textiles having a structure suitable for washing the floors and in particular the absorption properties of the liquids (for example it can this is a loop cleaning textile, a non-woven type cleaning textile, ....) The elastic interface 2 of FIGS. 1 to 4 more particularly comprises a rectangular textile strip 2a, which is elastic at least in the direction of its length. On each end of this elastic band 2a is fixed, for example by being sewn, an attached textile piece 2b, which is mounted astride the end of the band 2a.This insert 2b is sewn so that on the one hand forming a pocket 4 with one of the faces 2c (said upper face) of the strip 2a (longitudinal seams along the longitudinal edges of the strip 2a), and secondly is fixed on the opposite face 2d of the strip 2a by longitudinal and transverse seams.
The outer face of each insert 2b is of the self gripping type. For example, the insert 2b is a textile piece VELCRO type, one of whose faces is provided with a multitude of hooks 5 (Figure 4). In the example of Figure 4, the hooks 5 are distributed over the entire surface of the insert 2b. The hooks 5 may be replaced by any equivalent self-gripping means, and for example by protuberances forming a double hook, or by protuberances in the form of mushrooms.
Ultimately, only the hooks 5 which are located in the part 2e of the insert 2b which is in contact with the lower face 2d of the elastic band 2a, are useful for fixing the elastic interface 2 on the cleaning textile 3. In another variant, the insert may thus comprise hooks or equivalents on a part 2e of its surface (variant comparable to that of Figure 5).
The upper face of the cleaning fabric 3 (FIG. 1 and FIG. 4) comprises, at its two ends, two gripping zones 3c, which are able to cooperate with the hooks 5 of the elastic interface 2, and which make it possible to the quick and removable attachment of the interface 2 on the cleaning fabric 3. Each attachment zone 3c is for example a textile part whose surface comprises female type fastening elements 7 (fibers, bristles, buckles or equivalent ) which allow the hooking hooks 5 (male type fastening elements). Of course, in another variant, the hooks 5 could be positioned on the cleaning fabric 3, and the female hooking structures, such as buckles, bristles or the like could be provided on the elastic interface 2.
In order to adapt the cleaning fabric 3 to the mop head 1, the following procedure is used, for example: The elastic interface 2 is firstly threaded onto the broom head 1, by introducing the two ends of the broom head 1 into the two pockets 4 of the interface 2. Thanks to its elasticity, the interface 2 adapts easily on geometries and / or formats and / or various structures of broom head. Thus, the same cleaning textile 3 can easily adapt to geometries and / or formats and / or various structures of broom head. Subsequently, the underside of the interface provided with hooks 5 is applied to the upper face of the cleaning fabric 3 so as to bring the hooks 5 into contact with the attachment areas 3c of the cleaning fabric 3.Cleaning textiles of varied structure, size or geometry can advantageously be adapted to the broom head 1.
To clean the textile 3, the textile 3 is advantageously detached from the interface 2, the latter remaining in place on the broom head 1, then after cleaning the textile 3, it is repositioned on the interface 2. The replacement of a cleaning textile 2 used by a new textile is also easy.
FIG. 5 shows another variant embodiment of the invention in which an elastic interface 2 'and a cleaning fabric 3' are not completely separable from one another.
In this variant, the cleaning fabric 3 'is permanently attached at one of its ends to the elastic interface 2', for example by means of a transverse seam 6. The free end of the cleaning fabric 3 ', opposite the fixing zone 6, is provided with a hooking zone 3'c, which in the illustrated example comprises a plurality of loops 7'. The elastic interface 2 'has at its end opposite to the attachment zone 6, a hooking zone comprising a plurality of hooks 5' adapted to cooperate with the loops 7 'of the attachment zone 3'c. In the configuration illustrated in FIG. 5, the cleaning fabric 3 'can advantageously be manipulated to be cleaned or, if necessary, to be wrung out.To use the cleaning fabric 3', it is sufficient to bring its free end 3'c closer to the broom head 1 until the loops 7 'grip in the hooks 5'.
The invention is not limited to the particular embodiments which have been described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 5. In particular, the mechanical fastening means (7/5; 7 '/ 5') can be made to the using any equivalent known means for rapid assembly and separation of the cleaning fabric (3; 3 ') and the elastic interface (2; 2'). The pockets 4 of the elastic interface 2 or 2 'can be replaced by any equivalent means for quickly adapting the elastic interface to a broom head, and in particular to thread the elastic interface on the ends of a broom head.
