Abstract

The device has an L shaped arm fixed at one of its ends on one side (a) of a vertical support e.g. wall or pole, using hinges. The L shaped arm is pivoted, placed and supported at its other end (b) on the seat of a bicycle. The device locks the bicycle by passing a padlock or a chain between L end (c) of the device and an upper part of a frame of the bicycle.

  The present invention relates to a device for parking a bicycle and worm-rust using padlocks, chains, or other security accessories that are usually found in the trade.

  There are currently systems for parking a bicycle by wedging the wheel, or by laterally resting the cycle against a rigid frame, or by hooking the bicycle on specific hooks.

  These devices have disadvantages, since in general they are bulky (even if they are not in function), they are built in heavy and rigid materials, and they are not always secure since it is easy to separate the wheel of the rest of the cycle.

  The invention, which is characterized essentially by its simplicity of implementation, overcomes these disadvantages.

  The device consists of an L-shaped arm fixed on one side on a vertical support (wall, post, etc ...) using hinges, which is rotated and which is supported on the bike saddle, preventing it from tilting sideways or rolling forward.

  By coming to rest on the saddle, pocket area of the center of gravity, the effort required to keep the bike in balance is minimal, and one can thus consider using lighter materials for the manufacture of a such a device, thus reducing its production costs.

  It is possible to lock the cycle by passing a padlock or chain which is usually commercially available between the L-end of the device and the upper part of the bicycle frame, thus ensuring optimum security against theft. In addition, if it is not used, this device has a very small footprint since the arm pivots down and comes to rest against its support.

  One can consider blocking the device in this position with a lock or a padlock to reserve and affect its use to certain authorized persons, thus allowing the management of a parking lot for bicycles in the same way parking for motor vehicles (private access, paid access, access to certain hours of the day, etc. ....)
