  The present invention relates to a device for material security of a

  bottle, especially a bottle of wine or spirits.

  We know the problem of fraud concerning the content of the bottles, more particularly the content of bottles of wine or spirits of high reputation. We know that bottles containing a great wine or a great spirit are very expensive. Fraud consists in reusing bottles that have contained such luxury products and in introducing a quality wine or spirit

  banal then to market such bottles at the price of luxury.

  For this, it is of course necessary to keep the cap and the capsule in addition to the

bottle and label.

  The capsule can indeed be carefully cut without being cut.

  However, despite the difficulties, the large producers were able to observe this

  type of fraud and want to fight it.

  There are already means for securing a bottle using traceability, means which combine certain securing characters, produced by state printing houses such as micro-writings, notices invisible in natural light and legible only under special lighting, combinations of bar codes on the label, on the cap, or even on the capsule; or metallic borders with a particular alloy composition responding only at a given frequency; or holograms of particular manufacture. In French patent application No. 2 817 371, in the name of the same applicant, such means have been described, the information of which is gathered in a database whose access is controlled by passwords held by different people so that no one holds all the information simultaneously to avoid fraud.

  However, if this system is advantageous, it requires sophisticated means of reading information at the parade during the traffic jam, generations of random codes, means of memorization and almost instantaneous search for each of the combinations relating to each of the products. for identification and authentication and means of managing stocks of marked products.

  We also know that bottles of wine, for example when they are kept for many years, must be repackaged in order to replace the cork in particular, or to control the evolution of the corresponding cuvée.   The description which follows is given with regard to a bottle of wine but finds a completely identical application for spirits.

  ring 28 that remains the sign 22 of securing.

  Thus when the destructible upper part 24 is removed, access to the capsule 16 is possible. The overcap can be cut and the cap removed

  as for the bottles of the prior art, without overcaps 20.

  Advantageously, the securing sign 22 worn on the ring is identical to that worn by the label. Thus the owner of the bottle or the buyer who wishes an additional control can ensure the identity

of the two signs.

  In a variant, it is also possible to provide a second precut 30 along a generator to ensure removal of the ring after inspection, for a

  presentation of the open bottle, for consumption of its contents.

  To be able to increase the control, the destructible upper part 26 can also carry a bar code, either for inventory management or for a

  comparison with that carried by the cap for example.

  This is an additional possibility to check the provenance of the bottle. In FIGS. 2A to 2E, the installation of the device has been shown. Thus, the neck of the bottle equipped with its cap receives an overcap simply by

  overcaps by third parties who would like to imitate this type of protection.
