Abstract

The three dimensional small houses are made with puzzle pieces (A) which are fitted into each other by means of pins and holes. The hollow houses are composed of walls (Y) and a roof (X) placed and fitted into a plinth (Z).

 The present invention relates to small wooden houses, in 3 dimensions, to be built in puzzle pieces, intended for young children (2 to 5 years) for the simplest constructions, for older children, or even adults, for the most complicated constructions. These achievements can be assembled and disassembled at will.

These small wooden houses are made on the puzzle principle but with pieces of 3 mm to 20 mm thick fitting into each other by means of lugs and holes giving in the end small constructions in 3 dimensions , hollow inside, made up of facades and roofs, all placed and embedded on a base, itself made of puzzle pieces embedded using the same process.

The number of rooms can range from 12 for the simplest of the constructions (2 per facade, 2 for the roof (1 slope) and 2 for the base) to a larger number.

 The number of rooms will depend on the shape of the house, its complexity, the number of slopes of the roof, as well as the difficulty sought.

 An easy realization will consist of large, few rooms and the house will be simple.

 The number of pieces of the puzzle, the shape of the house, the size of it, will determine the difficulty of the realization.

 The houses will be able to imitate the different types of houses in France or in the world or be of purely whimsical shape and inspiration.

 The façades will, for some, have windows and doors. Balconies, fireplaces and other elements can be hung on it using the same installation process.

 The finished product can be wood color, remain as it is or be painted later by users.

 The finished product can be painted originally giving a finished house in color, making assembly easier.

 Certain constructions will have additional elements such as shutters and doors which can open and close thanks to a simple system of pivots.

 The most complicated constructions will have multi-pitched roofs, balconies, terraces, external staircases, shutters and doors, all in built-in puzzle pieces.

 Technical characteristics: - The houses will preferably be made of wood but could also be made of hard plastic.

 - The parts will be from 3mm to 20mm thick allowing the installation of the installation system with lugs (pin type).

 - Any type of wood can be used.

 - The pins can be formed at the same time as the puzzle pieces or be added to them and fixed with glue. They will be made of wood or hard plastic.

 - We start by assembling the elements of the base then the facades are assembled and come to be embedded at the level of the base thanks to the pins and the holes provided for this purpose. The adjacent facades are also assembled, 2 by 2. In order for the construction to be feasible, all the rooms will not necessarily fit together with all the neighboring rooms which are in contact with them.

 - We finish by assembling the roof in the same way and it will naturally take its place by fitting on the top of the facades.

 - For more complicated constructions, the system is the same, the number of rooms is simply greater and other elements such as balconies, fireplaces or external staircases can be assembled according to the same process and then come to be embedded on the roofs or building facades.

Figure 1 shows an example of a finished, assembled house, comprising 26 puzzle pieces (14 for the facades, 8 for the roof, 4 for the base).

The roof elements can be bevelled at the level of the ridge (D) or at right or almost right angles (G) with respect to the slope of the roof.

 The elements constituting the lower edges of the roof can be bevelled (E) or at right angles to the slope of the roof (F).

Figures 14, 15, 16 and 17 show the 2 possibilities as to the shape of the top of the elements of the walls on which the roof rests:
The elements will be bevelled (H) and will follow the slope of the roof allowing total contact between the wall and the roof, or will be at right angles to the wall (1).

 FIG. 18 illustrates an example of a chimney made of built-in elements (Al).

 These are exploded to show the system of pins (B) and holes (C) allowing the different elements to fit into each other.

 Figure 19 illustrates an example of a balcony whose mounting principle is the same as Figure 18 but with its own puzzle pieces to be built in (A2).

 Figure 20 illustrates an external staircase made of puzzle elements (A3) embedded in each other showing in particular the pins (B) allowing it to be embedded in the holes of the facade provided for this purpose. As for the fireplace or the balcony, we will first assemble the staircase before embedding it in the facade.

 FIG. 21 simply illustrates the pivot system (J) in which loops or rings (K) of the door or shutter elements (A4) are hooked, allowing the latter to pivot to simulate opening or closing doors and shutters.

CLAIMS 1) Small houses to be built in 3 dimensions, characterized by the fact that they are made with puzzle pieces (A) from 3mm to 20mm thick fitting into each other by means of lugs (B ) (like pins) and holes (C). 2) Small houses according to claim n l characterized in that they are hollow inside, consisting of walls (Y) and a roof (X), all placed and embedded on a base (Z). 3) Small houses according to claim n l characterized in that each of their parts is made of embedded puzzle pieces. 4) Small houses according to claim nl characterized in that other elements such as balconies, fireplaces, external stairs, made of built-in puzzle pieces by means of lugs (B) and holes (C) are added on facades and roofs. 5) Small houses according to claim n l characterized in that they are made of wood or hard plastic. 6) Small houses according to claim nl characterized in that the lugs are formed at the same time as the puzzle pieces or are added subsequently by means of glue and by the fact that the lugs (pins) are made of wood or hard plastic. 7) Small houses according to claim nl characterized in that they can receive, at the openings, shutters and doors, made of built-in puzzle pieces and by the fact that pivots (J) fixed at the facades and rings (K) fixed at the doors and flaps allow the opening and closing of the doors and flaps, the pivots (J) being placed in the rings (K).
