Abstract

 The present invention relates to a dishwasher and a cutlery basket fitted to such a dishwasher.

 It generally relates to household dishwashers comprising one or more baskets for loading the dishes mounted to slide inside the tank of the dishwasher.

 Traditionally, a cutlery basket, allowing the cutlery to be washed in place in the dishwasher, is placed directly inside a basket for loading dishes, and generally in the lower basket of the dishwasher.

 This arrangement of the cutlery basket, comprising several parallelepiped racks, takes up space in the basket for loading the dishes and hinders the loading of plates or pans inside this loading basket.

 A dishwasher is known in which the cutlery basket is fixed directly inside the front door of the dishwasher.

 However, although releasing the basket for loading the dishes, this arrangement in the cutlery basket door does not allow satisfactory washing and drying of the cutlery.

 Frequently traces or dirt are observed on the latter which could not be effectively cleaned.

 The present invention aims to solve the aforementioned drawbacks and to provide a dishwasher and an associated cutlery basket, making it easier to load cutlery and wash it.

 To this end, the present invention relates, according to a first aspect, to a dishwasher comprising a basket for loading the dishes slidably mounted in the tank of the dishwasher and a cutlery basket.

 It is thus possible, in this second embodiment, to load the cutlery into the cutlery basket 10 according to the invention without extracting it from the dishwasher, but by simply pivoting on the front door 26 after opening of it.

 This results in a cutlery basket for dishes allowing optimized loading and washing of cutlery.

 Of course, numerous modifications can be made to the above embodiments without departing from the scope of the invention.

 Thus, the dishwasher can have two or more cutlery baskets attached to the lower basket for loading the dishes.

Claims (12)

 1. A dishwasher comprising a basket for loading the dishes (20) slidably mounted in the tank (24) of said dishwasher (25) and a cutlery basket (10), characterized in that the cutlery basket ( 10) is fixed to the dish loading basket (20) and is arranged between the dish loading basket (20) and the front door (26) of the dishwasher (25).  2.
