Abstract

Pour l'instant, nous utilisons uniquement des ailerons positionnés perpendiculairement à l'axe transversal de la carène de la planche. L'inconvénient majeur est que l'aileron offre son meilleur rendement seulement lorsque la planche est à plat sur l'eau.Bien entendu, la navigation s'effectue toujours avec la planche gîtée, c'est à dire inclinée, l'utilisation d'ailerons inclinés offre alors un bien meilleur rendement. Ces ailerons inclinés joueront non seulement un rôle anti-dérive mais aussi un rôle d'hydrofoil. Ainsi leur longueur pourra être augmentée, ce qui a toujours pour but d'augmenter les performances et la stabilité.Cette invention s'applique particulièrement aux planches symétriques de " Flysurf " ou planche tractée par une aile. La figure 5 représente en coupe transversale, et en perspective l'invention qui repose sur l'angle a formé par l'intersection du plan de carène (Pc) et du plan de l'aileron (Pa). Le plan de carène (Pc) est défini par l'intersection entre l'axe longitudinal (5) et la droite (6') parallèle à l'axe transversal (6) de la carène de la planche. Le plan de l'aileron (Pa) est défini par l'intersection entre l'axe longitudinal (4) et l'axe transversal (7) de l'intrados de l'aileron.
