ASSEMBLY OF IMPROVEMENT SYSTEMS FOR TRAMPOLIN A

SPORTS USE

  The present invention relates to improvement systems for a trampoline for sports use. The trampolines currently on the market and in particular the competition trampolines measure approximately 5 m x 3 m and are foldable for easy storage. They present several dangerous points: danger when the trampolinists fall on one of the short sides of the frame and danger during folding. On the other hand. adjustments are difficult during installation (in terms of flatness) and the chains holding the feet relax during use. The metal parts are made up of large parts that are difficult to transport. Their design does not allow

  adaptation of fabric tension according to users.

  The object of the invention is to eliminate these drawbacks.

  The trampoline described below is made from small metal parts (about half compared to traditional manufacturing) facilitating the transport and delivery of the disassembled device. Folding is done using 2 trolleys

  fitted with a pedal which eliminates any risk of jamming for the user.

  All the tie rods for holding in the working position are rigid and very easily adjustable in order to position the trampoline perfectly horizontal and at the desired height. The elasticity adjustment makes it possible to adjust the trampoline according to the weight of the trampolinists and the exercises worked. This adjustment is made by varying the spacing of the feet. Knowing that the feet maintain on the one hand the stability of the frame and allow the respect of its dimensions for about 80%, if the upper parts of the feet fitted on the frames are more or less separated, the two long sides of the frame will move away or get closer, allowing a more or less strong tension of the springs and the fabric. Safety during falls on the short sides of the frame has been reinforced by a system allowing them to lower gradually, in the event of an impact or fall on the frame. The trigger principle

  security system is identical to that of security doors.

  Figure I shows a trampoline in the operating position, without the protection that covers all of the springs (1), without the safety mats placed at the ends on the benches (2). These are shown in dotted lines to better visualize the mechanical parts. The benches (2) are made of

  composite having the property of not twisting while remaining very flexible.

  The trampoline frame has 4 hinges (3).

  The 4 small corner pieces (4) connected 2 to 2 at point (5) by joining

  plates and bolts are hinged to the hinges (3).

  These corner pieces (4) are provided with welded metal loops allowing the hanging of the springs (1) on which, at the other end, the canvas (6) is hooked

thus kept in tension.

  The 2 pieces (7) constitute the linear parts of the frame and have the same welded loops as the corner pieces, a reinforcement bar (8), a tube (9) which will allow to receive the folding and storage cart as well than 2 cylindrical tubes (12). These cylindrical tubes (1 2) receive the articulation of the feet (10). These parts (7) also include the 2 articulated fasteners of the small tie rods (14) as well as the

hinges (3).

  The 4 feet (10) are small and have reinforcements for rigidity.

  Each of the 4 legs also has in its upper part the cylindrical articulation points (12) used for folding and for rapid adjustment in elasticity, and in its lower part, the fixing (16) adjustable for junction 2 to 2. ( Figure 3) The 4 tie rods (13) and the 4 tie rods (14) with quick adjustment are provided to give the mechanical strength and rigidity of the assembly. The tie rods (13) are fitted with a trigger and shock absorber system allowing the short sides (4) (shown in

  dotted) to lower during an impact. (description Figure 5)

  Figure 2 shows the entire folded trampoline on the 2 trolleys with pedals

  (15) allowing the release of the tie rods (14) for folding.

  The folding and transport trolleys are provided at their upper end with a hook (11) which prevents unfolding during tilting in the vertical position. When the carriage fits into the tube (9) of the linear bar (7) this hook remains in

  "safety" position thanks to a spring.

  Figure 3 shows a foot consisting of 2 parts (10) connected to point (16) by

  bolting forming a hinge axis.

  A wedge placed at point (17) will give the desired spacing depending on the type of exercise and the category of trampolinists: a small wedge will give a flexible trampoline (frame less apart) and a thick wedge will give a hard trampoline, the spacing of

  feet generating tension on the springs and the fabric.

  This is done when mounting the trampoline. A chock change requires

  remove the springs (1), canvas side, over a long length.

  Figure 4 also shows in section the possibility of varying the spacing of the entire frame and in particular the parts of the linear frame (7) by pushing or bringing back the feet (10) fitted into the parts (12) of the linear frame (7) by the rotation of a screw (18) using a crank (19) which can be removable for

  The nut (20) is welded to the threaded rod (18). The nut (21) is welded or integral with the tube

cylindrical of the foot (10).

  Since the springs give a strong pressure on the frame, the nut (20) welded to the threaded rod (18) is supported on the cylindrical tube (12) closed in its

end at point (22).

  This part (22) has a hole corresponding to the diameter of the threaded rod which it

  even exceeds and receives the removable crank (1 9).

  The manipulation of the crank has the effect of moving away or closer to the nut (21) integral with the foot (10) of the friction part (22) which generates variations

  dimensions of the ends of the foot, therefore of the frame, and this at the 4 folding points (12).

  Figure 5 shows the 2 tie rods seen from the side. The tie rod (14) connects the linear part (7) to the foot (10) and schematically shows the cylindrical lug (24) (magnified for a better understanding) of the end of the tie rod (14) fitted and locked by the

parts (23) and (25).

  To fit the lug (24) of the tie rod (14), it suffices to present it on the parts (25) and (23). The lug (24) of the tie rod (14) is positioned at the bottom of the notch of the part (23) by tilting the part (25) which rocks again by its weight., In the other direction and

  locks the lug (24) of the tie rod (14).

  These parts (25) and (23). due to their well calculated tonne, will have the effect of making up for all mechanical play and eliminating any risk of unexpected improper handling

for unlocking the tie rod (14).

  For folding, only the installation of 2 trolleys, the operation of the 2 pedals and the manual rocking of the 2 parts (25) done simultaneously by 2 people can

unlock the tie rods (14).

  The variations in length of the 4 tie rods (14) allow the trampoline to be positioned at the desired height. Figure 5 also shows the tie rod (13) connecting the bent parts (4) of the frame to the foot

(10 ().

  The slide (26) of the tie rod (13) is provided in its upper part with a part (27) receiving the

  locking finger (28) and, in its lower part, a welded nut (29).

  The screw (30) is welded to the part (31) which fits onto the receiving part welded to

  the foot (10) for disengagement and folding.

  By screwing or unscrewing the slide (26) we increase or decrease the length of the tie rod (13) which has the effect of placing the part (8) perfectly horizontal

  in alignment with the linear parts (7).

  This view also represents the system of stripping and damping during a

  fall on the short side of the chassis (4).

  The locking finger (28) is extended by pivoting bars around the axes (33) interconnected to form a single axis. The bar (32) also connects the two support bars of the locking fingers (28) to form an assembly so that, when a trampolinist falls on one side of the bar (32), the 2 locking fingers (28) decrement. at the same time, such as the torsion bars of a vehicle connecting the 2

stowed or front wheels.

  The protection and the carpet are shown in dotted lines although they are used in all cases.

  The fall will lower the bar (32) which releases the locking fingers (28) from the parts (27) and thereby. the slides (26) will come to bear on the springs (34) (or any other damping means such as a jack. more suitable since having no sudden return effect). The parts (4) of the chassis will lower according to the dotted line

and absorb the shock.

  Returning to the locked position is automatic, so this damping system does not

  works only if the bar (32) falls.

  This same principle can be applied to the trampoline built into a pit.

Claims (7)

claims   1- Set of improvement systems for a trampoline for sports use characterized by feet supporting a frame, by 2 trolleys provided with pedals (15) and hooks (11) for easy folding. This system is also characterized by the assembly of the feet 2 to 2 at the point (16) adjustable in size by means of shims of different thicknesses, by the junction of the feet (10) to the frame (7) comprising a quick adjustment which allows '' adjust the size of the frame; by 8 rigid retaining rods (13) and (14) with rapid length adjustment and by the ends of the frame (4) which tilt thanks to the rods shock absorbers (13).   2 - Set of improvement systems for a trampoline for sports use according to claim 0, characterized by the assembly of the feet 2 to 2 at point (16), their   spacing may vary by the use of shims of different dimensions.   3 - Set of improvement systems for a trampoline for sports use according to claim I characterized in that the 4 junctions of the feet (10) to the frame (7) at point (12) can vary in spacing thanks to the screw (18) put rotating by the crank (19).   4 - Set of improvement systems for a trampoline for sporting use according to claim 1 characterized in that the folding and transport carts include   a pedal (15) and the hook (1 1), this hook being always in the safety position.   - Set of improvement systems for trampoline according to claim 1 characterized in that the 8 tie rods (13) and (14) are rigid and quickly adjustable in length. 6 - Set of improvement systems for trampoline according to claim 1   characterized in that the 2 ends of the frame (4) are shock absorbing during a fall.   7 - set of improvement systems for trampoline according to claims 1 and 7   characterized in that the 4 tie rods (13) have a sliding part (26) provided with a damping system.   8 - Set of improvement systems for trampoline according to claim I and 7 characterized by a locking system (locking finger 28) extended by   pivoting bars around the axes (33) interconnected to form a single axis.   9 - set of improvement systems for trampoline according to claim 1, 7, 8 and 9 characterized in that the bar (32) connects the 2 support bars of the locking fingers (28) pivoting around the axes (33).
