  The present invention relates to a blade locking and unlocking device on a folding pump knife.

  Traditionally, the blade has an upper notch which receives the pump located in the back of the knife. Blocking is achieved when the pump head is engaged in the notch of the blade, lifting the pump unlocks the blade. In general, the pump is articulated in the middle, and pressing on the opposite part lifts the head and unlocks the blade. This principle is very effective, but opening the knife requires the use of two hands. The device according to the invention overcomes this drawback, while keeping the operating principle and its efficiency. This device makes it possible to lock and unlock the blade in the open position and, moreover, also allows the locking and unlocking of the closed position.
