Abstract

Headgear is made from single piece of supple material and is shaped by band (5) which adapts, encloses and holds it around head. This band leaves zone (2) forming hat which has width of material forming visor (1). Zone (3) forms cover for nape of neck, followed by zone (4) covering shoulder. Zone (2) retains enough material to constitute two zones (6) for covering ears.

Description

The invention relates to a single-size head covering consisting of a piece of flexible material, of rectangular shape, advantageously cut in an isosceles trapezoidal shape, ovoid, or oblong and shaped by a solidary element which ensures by closing the adaptation to the head circumference and keeps it on the head.

The head covering which is the subject of the present invention can cover the forehead, the skull, the neck, the shoulders and the ears, it will find its application in the usual uses of the head covers namely; protection, fashion, leisure, party, sport, work, etc.

In this field of head covers we know, especially, caps. These are accessories made by assembling several pieces of one or more materials, assembled according to a specific plan and elaborated for a defined head circumference.

The cap may or may not be provided with a visor of varying shape and consistency, the latter constituting alone an independent piece and subject to a special fixation.

In the same way the cap can be equipped with a device to cover the neck and possibly the shoulders. Again, this cover is the subject of an independent piece that must be fixed by a means to the cap.

Some head covers are adjustable depending on the head circumference either with an elastic element, or by a self-gripping tape system or by a device with notches but not allow a single size for all head turns.

In fact the chief covers of these are relatively complex objects to manufacture.

The present invention proposes to meet these various drawbacks through simplified manufacturing since the head cover consists of a single piece that can include all the elements mentioned above, ie: visor, bonnet , covers neck, cover of shoulders and ears. The shaping, adaptation to the headband and the maintenance on the head is performed by a single element and solidarity to adapt to all sizes.

Other objects and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the following description relating to an embodiment which is given by way of indicative and non-limiting example.

Thus, the head cover referred to here comprises a single piece of flexible material (P), woven or not, of rectangular shape, advantageously cut in a trapezoidal shape isosceles, ovoid, or oblong, shaped by an element solidaire (5) which ensures closing the adaptation to the headband and keeps it on the head. The use of this tightening element ensures adaptation to all sizes.

The piece of material is arranged in a region (7) preferably circular and favorably located in a zone (2) in symmetry with respect to the longitudinal center line ab and preferably positioned at two-thirds in the longitudinal direction.

The dimensions of the piece of material (P) are a function of the final destination and the aesthetic sought. For example, a large protection of the neck may require a seam behind the zones (6) of protection of the ears for better maintenance of the zones (3) and (4), in the same vein, a central location of the region (7) and the addition of thongs will make it possible to use the head cover in integral protection of the ears <I> (figure 6). </ I>
