Abstract

The case for carrying a pet animal has a transport position for carrying the animal and an extended position in which it has a larger volume. A foldable panel (2) has two sections (2a,b) hinged together and two lateral bellows sections (14,14') and a second panel (15) to define the extendible inner volume.

Description

DISPOSITIF DE TRANSPORT POUR ANIMAL DOMESTIQUE La présente invention concerne les moyens de transport pour les animaux domestiques de petite taille. Les propriétaires d'animaux domestiques se trouvent confrontés à de nombreuses difficultés lorsqu'ils souhaitent se déplacer en emmenant leur animal, quelque soit le mode de déplacement, avion, train, etc. Une solution connue consiste à utiliser de petites cages qui, outre leurs aspects inesthétiques et peu pratiques, ne sont pas très agréables pour l'animal. Généralement réalisées en plastique, ces cages ne ménagent que très peu d'espace à l'animal qui est obligé de rester confiné dans un petit volume même lors des phases passives de voyage, lorsqu'il est au repos. Une autre possibilité connue est l'emploi d'un panier, si la taille de l'animal s'y prête. Cependant, cette solution comporte également de nombreux inconvénients, notamment en ce qui concerne le maintien de l'animal. En effet, la structure ouverte d'un panier est incompatible avec les exigences d'un voyage lors duquel l'animal, qui peut se trouver perturbé, doit être maintenu pour être transporté sans pouvoir s'échapper. De plus, ces paniers, ou les différents sacs qui sont utilisés pour le transport de l'animal, sont rarement, voire jamais, aux dimensions admises par les compagnies aériennes dans le cadre des bagages dits de cabine. Ainsi, aucun dispositif connu ne donne une totale satisfaction, tant du point de vue de l'animal que de celui de son propriétaire et particulièrement lors d'un déplacement en avion. Dans ce contexte, la présente invention remédie à ces différents inconvénients en proposant un dispositif de transport pour des animaux domestiques qui soit pratique, simple à transporter et qui satisfasse à la réglementation concernant les bagages de cabine d'un avion tout en ménageant un espace suffisant à l'animal, notamment pendant les phases passives du voyage comme dans les salles d'attente, dans un train ou un avion. A cette fin, selon l'invention, le dispositif pour le transport manuel ou à dos d'un animal domestique de petite taille délimitant un volume fermé susceptible d'être ouvert, est caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend des moyens aptes à faire passer ledit dispositif d'une position de transport à une position déployée offrant un volume intérieur plus important. Avantageusement, le dispositif comporte un premier panneau rabattable articulé entre deux positions correspondant respectivement aux positions de transport et déployée, associé à un second panneau délimitant, en position déployée, le volume intérieur du dispositif. De préférence, des soufflets latéraux lient le panneau rabattable au dispositif en position déployée et le second panneau est un filet.
