Abstract

The clothes hanger (1) for trousers has a bar (2) with a suspension hook (6) and grippers (7) to grip the trousers. The hanger has an elongated section (3) parallel to the bar (2) and spaced from it. The gap defined between the bar and elongated section allows passage of a pair of trousers.

Description

The present invention relates to a hanger for supporting a

  pants or similar elongated clothing.

  It is well known to hang pants on hangers for display for sale or, in a dry cleaning store, for return to their owner after cleaning. This suspension is somewhat problematic in practice since it does not allow a global vision of both the upper and lower parts of the pants. In addition, the pants must be folded manually for their packaging, which causes some work for the sales staff or the staff of the dry cleaning store,

  and thus causes a relative loss of time.

  For the user, the suspension of the pants in a wardrobe by means of conventional hangers, which include one or more clips to grip the upper or lower part of the pants, also has the disadvantage of not allowing an overall view of the pants, and therefore not to determine if the pants are

hem or cuff.

  The present invention aims to remedy these drawbacks

  practical, using an inexpensive hanger to make.

  The hanger which it concerns comprises, in a known manner on the ground, a bar comprising a suspension hook and at least one clamp

suitable for gripping pants.

  According to the invention, the hanger comprises at least one elongated part, parallel to the aforementioned bar and distant from the latter, the space between this bar and this elongated part being such that the pants can be engaged between this bar and this part. lying down then resting on said

elongated part.

  Pants can thus be placed on the hanger with one of its ends, in particular at the level of the belt, gripped by the clip (s) of the hanger and with another part, in particular the legs of the pants, engaged on said elongated part. The pants are folded in three so that both the waistband and the lower ends of the pants

legs are perfectly visible.

  Such a hanger can be made, in whole or in part, in material

  molded synthetic, which allows a very low cost price.

  Figure 1 shows a hanger 1 for the support of pants

or similar elongated garment.

  This hanger 1 comprises two parallel bars 2, 3, spaced from one another are connected, at their ends, by two

sleepers 4.

  One of the bars 2 is provided, in its central part, with a boss 5 on which is mounted a suspension hook 6 and two clamps 7 which are suitable, as shown in FIG. 3, for gripping a

  pants 15 at the waist portion 15a thereof.

  These hook 6 and clips 7 are of conventional type on a hanger.

  In the example shown, the hook 6 is constituted by a suitably bent metal rod. Each clamp 7 is constituted by two parts forming jaws, which are movable between respective positions of spacing, to allow the engagement of the pants 15 between them, and of approximation, to allow the tightening of these pants, and by a blade -metallic spring, which normally maintains these parts forming

jaws in position of approach.

  The bar 3 is straight, and the cross members 4 are inclined relative to the bars 2, 3, to which they are connected by bent ends. The bar 3 is thus placed at a level lower than that of

  bar 2, as shown in Figure 4.

  Figures 3 and 4 show that the clips 7 are intended to grip pants 15 at the waist 15a thereof, and that the space 8 existing between the bars 2 and 3 is such that the legs 15b of the pants can to be engaged through him. These legs 15b can

  thus be placed around the bar 3 and rest on it.

  The hanger 1 thus makes it possible to suspend and transport the pants in this position folded in three, which allows not only to see simultaneously and easily the belt part 15a and the end of the legs 15b but also to be able to easily pack the pants 15

under reduced volume.

  The hanger 1, made, with the exception of the hook 6, in a piece of synthetic material, is inexpensive to manufacture, and can therefore be sold with the delivery of the pants to a customer. No folding is therefore necessary

  at the time of sale to pack the pants.

  The fact that the bar 3 is at a level lower than the bar 2 makes it possible to balance the hanger 1 when pants 15 are engaged on it, as shown in FIG. 4, and, simultaneously, allows the vision of the

  belt part 15a, as shown in FIG. 3.

  Figure 2 shows an embodiment of the hanger 1 similar to that just described, except that the bar 3 is replaced by two coaxial rods 9. Each of these rods 9 is connected by its base to the

crosspiece 4 corresponding.

  The hanger 1 according to this embodiment allows easier engagement of the legs 1 5b on these rods 9, thanks to the space

  existing between the ends of these rods 9.

  It goes without saying that the invention is not limited to the embodiments described above but that, on the contrary, it embraces all of the variant embodiments. Thus, the suspension hook 6 could be molded with the bar 2; this bar 2 could itself be constituted by two movable parts forming, over its entire length, a gripper for gripping the end of the pants; the bars 3, crosspieces 4 or rods 9 can be molded with the rest of the hanger or molded separately and

  assembled to the rest of the hanger by any means.

Claims (4)

  1 - Hanger for the support of pants or similar elongated garment, comprising a bar (2) which comprises a hanging hook (6) and at least one clamp (7) suitable for gripping the pants (15), characterized in that that it comprises at least one elongated part (3, 9), parallel to the above-mentioned bar (2) and distant from the latter, the space (8) between this bar (2) and this elongated part (3, 9 ) being such that the pants (15) can be engaged between this bar (2) and this elongated part (3, 9) and then rest on said part elongated (3, 9).   2 - Hanger according to claim 1, characterized in that said elongated part (3, 9) is located, when the hanger (1) is suspended, at a level below said bar (2), to balance the hanger (1) when this one   supports pants (15) and is suspended.   3 - hanger according to claim 1 or claim 2, characterized in that said elongated part is constituted by a bar (3) which connects the ends of two crosspieces (4), these crosspieces (4) being themselves connected to the ends of the bar (2) including the hook   suspension (6) and the gripper (s) (7) for gripping the pants (15).   4- hanger according to claim 1 or claim 2, characterized in that said elongated part is constituted by two coaxial rods (9) each connected to the end of a crosspiece (4), each crosspiece (4) being itself- even connected to the bar (2) comprising the hook   suspension (6) and the gripper (s) (7) for gripping the pants (15).   - Hanger according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in   that it is made, in whole or in part, of molded synthetic material
