Abstract

The door set comprises a frame (2) receiving a door (3) pivoted by hinges (9). The hinges are of double-action type to allow the travel of the door from the first (10) and second (11) sides of the frame. The carrying block is also used as a door locking mechanism (40) installed on the door from the first side of the frame so as to interfere with the normal travel of the door from this side.

Description

The invention relates to a door unit comprising a frame receiving at

  minus an opening pivotally mounted relative to the frame using hinges.

  We already know such door units, especially for hinged doors, or VA-ET-VIENT doors. The present invention is particularly intended for medical environments, such as

  establishments for the elderly or disabled.

  According to another variant, a flapping profile comprises a support plate fixed to the frame by fixing means and a removable element capable of

  cooperate with the support plate by clipping or sliding.

  According to another variant, the blocking means are angles fixed on the rebate on its distal face or its proximal face with respect to the travel of

io opening it.

  The fixing means are threaded screws with visible head allowing the assembly and disassembly without alteration of the locking means and the frame. The locking means are made of wood, metal or plastic or the like.   A first embodiment of the door unit 1 will now be described in

reference to Figures 1 and 2.

  The door unit 1 comprises a frame 2 and an opening 3.

  The floor is designated by 4, by 5 the opening of the door unit 1.

  The frame 2 comprises two lateral uprights 6, 7 extending in a vertical direction D, connected by an upper cross member 8 extending in a

horizontal direction.

  The door unit 1 defines a first side 10 and a second side 11. The frame extends from the first side 10 in a vertical plane P and from the second side 11 in a vertical plane P 'parallel to P. The first side 10 is for example the exterior of a room or the like, and the

  o0 second side 1 1 is the interior of the chamber or the like.

  The opening 3 is pivotally mounted on the frame, along a vertical pivot axis A. In another embodiment, the door unit 1 comprises two openings 3A, 3B coplanar in the closed position mounted respectively on the uprights 6 and 7. The opening 3B pivots along a vertical axis B parallel to the axis A. In a another embodiment, the pivot axis is horizontal, the opening or opening being mounted on the upper cross member and not on the lateral uprights.   In the first embodiment, the opening 3 is mounted on the upright 6 of the frame 2 using hinges 9.   The hinges 9 connect the upright 6 of the frame 2 and the edge 3a of the opening 3.

  A normal direction of opening N is defined below, typically from the outside of the chamber defined by the first side 10, towards the inside of the chamber defined by the second side 11, and an opposite direction of opening of inside towards

outside the room.

  A door handle or the like 19 is fixed on the side of the free edge 3b.

  We now describe more precisely the structure of frame 2 and

opening it 3.

  The opening 3 has a face 20 located on the outer side 10, and a face 21 located on the inner side 11. The faces 20, 21 are substantially flat and parallel. The opening has on the side of the edge 3a a vertical edge 22 on which are fixed the hinges 9, and a vertical edge 23 located on the side of the free edge 3b. Furthermore, the opening 3 has a horizontal upper edge 28, and an edge

  parallel horizontal lower 29, connecting the lateral vertical edges 22, 23.

  The vertical upright 6 of the frame 2 has a edge 24 located on the outside

  , and a edge 25 located on the inner side 11.

  The edges 24 and 25 are connected on the one hand by a vertical transverse edge 26 located opposite, and proximally, relative to the vertical transverse edge

  The edges 24 and 25 are connected on the other hand by a transverse edge 27 substantially parallel to the edge 26 and located distally from the

sash 22 of the opening 3.

  The vertical upright 7 of the frame 2 includes, similarly to the upright 6 an outer edge 30, and an inner edge 31 parallel. These edges 30, 31 are connected by two transverse vertical edges substantially perpendicular to the edges 30, 31, a edge 32 located proximal to the opening

  and a parallel vertical edge 33 located distally of the opening.

  The edges 25 of the amount 6 and 31 of the amount 7 are substantially coplanar

in the vertical plane P '.

  The outer edge 24 of the upright 6 has a rebate 34 and the edge

  outside 30 of the upright 7 has a rebate 35.

  The rebate 34 is substantially at right angles, and comprises two sides 36, 37 substantially perpendicular. The rebate 35 similarly presents two

  sides 38, 39 substantially perpendicular.

  The sides 37 and 39 are located distal to the opening 3, and are substantially parallel to the edges 26 and 32 respectively of the uprights 6, 7 of the frame 2 while the sides 36, 38 are located proximally to to the opening 3 and are substantially parallel respectively to the edges, 31 of the uprights 6, 7. The sides 36, 38 are coplanar in the vertical plane P. We now describe the hinges 9 and their attachment to the frame 2 and

opening it 3.

  The hinges 9 are of the double action type. They are able to allow the

  opening stroke 3 in the normal direction and in the opposite direction.

  A hinge 9 comprises a node 12 on the first outer side 10, and a node 13 on the second inner side 11. The node 12 is fixed to the edge 26 of the upright 6 of the frame 2 by means of a fixing plate 14 by at least one screw 14a. The node 13 is fixed to the edge 22 of the edge 3a of the opening 3 by means of a fixing plate 15 by at least one screw 15a. The fixing plate 15 is in

  look of the fixing plate 14 in the closed position.

  A connecting plate 16 connects the exterior node 12 and the interior node 13.

  The node 12 includes a spring 17, tensioned to keep the opening 3 in the closed position so as to prevent the opening 3 from abutting

  strongly against and degrade the locking means 40 described below.

  The node 13 includes a spring 18 which can be either slightly tensioned to

  provide closing assistance or be fully released.

  We now describe the means 40 for blocking the opening stroke

  from the second side 11 to the first side 10.

  These locking means are intended to be mounted, in normal situation, on the frame, so as to interfere with the travel of the opening. The locking means are mounted on the frame when the door 3 is in the position

  closed or in the open position in the normal opening direction.

  The locking means 40 are mounted on the outside 10 of the opening 3 to

  using fixing means 41, on the uprights 6 and 7 of the frame 2.

  Typically, the locking means 40 are beat profiles 44 in

  metal, wood, plastic or the like.

  The locking means 40 are for example a flapping profile 44 forming

  a beam 45 of substantially square or rectangular section.

  In the embodiment of Figures 1 and 2, two sections 44 are mounted, one

  on the amount 6 and one on the amount 7 of the frame 2.

  A beam 45 has 4 sides 46, 47, 48, 49.

  The first side 46 is opposite and substantially parallel to the side 36 of the rebate 34 for the upright 6, respectively to the side 38 of the rebate 35 for

the amount 7.

  The second side 47 is located proximal to the opening 3,

  contiguous and substantially transverse to side 46.

  The third side 48 is contiguous to side 47, and opposite side 46.

  The fourth side 49 connecting the faces 46 and 48, is located distally by

relative to the opening 3.

  We now describe the fixing of the locking means 40 to the frame 2.

  The fixing means 41 are at least one screw 51 passing through at least one

side of profiles 44.

  More specifically, the section 44 mounted on the upright 6 is mounted on the rebate

34 outside song 24.

  The profile 44 is fixed substantially in the corner 42 formed by the sides 36 and 37 of the rebate 34 (Figure 2). Screws 51 pass through the profile 44 substantially obliquely at an angle close to 45 relative to the plane P. Similarly, the profile 44 mounted on the upright 7 is mounted on the rebate 35

outside song 30.

  The profile 44 is fixed substantially in the corner 43 formed by the sides 38 and 39

  of Figure 35. The screws 51 pass through the profile substantially obliquely.

  The section 44 mounted on the upright 6 projects 46a towards the opening 3

  substantially transversely to the edge 26.

  Mounted on the upright 7, the section 44 projects 46b towards the opening 3 substantially

transverse to edge 32.

  These projections 46a and 46b are intended to receive in support the part located opposite the edges 3a, 3b of the opening 3, so as to block its travel C. The projections 46a, 46b form a substantially vertical strip opposite the edges 3a , 3b. At the hinges 9, the profile 44 has invisible cutouts 59

  preventing the hinges 9 from interfering with the mounting of the profile 44.

  The screws 51 are with visible head so that they can be identified and removed easily when the rapid disassembly of the profiles 44 is required during an emergency intervention to enter the room. Conversely, once the intervention has been carried out, these sections 44 can be reassembled according to their position

  initial so as to interfere with the normal opening stroke.

  The door unit 1 may also comprise seals 52a, 52b which make it possible to insulate, in particular acoustically, the chamber. The seal 52a is for example fixed on and connects the outer face 20 of the edge 3a, and the stop 53 of the frame 2 between the edge 24 and the edge 26. Similarly, the seal 52b is for example fixed on and connects the face outside 20 of edge 3b, and stop 54 between edge 30 and edge 32 for the upright 7. The joints 52a, 52b are fixed to the

  level of fasteners 55 for example by gluing.

  To allow the positioning of the acoustic joints, the sides 46 of the profiles 44 have a recess 56 substantially perpendicular to the

face 46.

  The door unit further comprises a lock 70 comprising a deadbolt 71 and a metal strike 72. In order to release the opening even when the dead bolt 71 is closed, a notch 73 is made in the frame and the keeper 72 is notched so as not to oppose the passage of the bolt 71 after the

  disassembly of the flapping profiles 44.

  In a second embodiment (FIG. 3), the sections 44 are similar to

  those of the first embodiment, but the attachment differs.

  On the upright 6, the fixing means 41 fix the profile 44 on the side 37 of

rebate 34.

  Screws 51 pass through the sides 47 and 49 of the section 44 substantially perpendicularly. Similarly, on the upright 7, the fastening means 41 are at least one screw 51 fixing substantially perpendicularly the profile 44 on the side 39 of the

  rebate 35, crossing the sides 47 and 49.

  According to a third embodiment (FIGS. 4, 6), the profiles 44 comprise on the one hand support means 60, such as a support plate 61 fixed to the uprights 6 and 7 of the frame 2 by threaded screws 61a, and else

  share a removable element 62 able to cooperate with the support means 60.

  It The support plate 61 is for example mounted on the faces 37, 39 respectively of the rebates 35, 37 of the uprights 6, 7 of the frame 2. This

  support plate 61 is substantially flat.

  The removable element 62 has for example three closed sides 46, 47, 48, and

  an open side 49 placed opposite the outer face 20 of the opening 3.

  The support plate 61 has two flanges 63 intended for fixing the profile

44 at side 49.

  To this end, the open side 49 has two lateral folds 64 able to be placed opposite the edges 63, and provides a space in which comes

  The lateral folds 64 are able to cooperate by clipping with the flanges 63,

  According to an alternative embodiment, the removable element 62 is able to cooperate by

  sliding vertically with the support plate 61 and not by clipping.

  According to a fourth embodiment (Figure 7), the edges 24, 30 of the uprights 6, 7 do not have a rebate 34, 35, and are substantially planar

and coplanar.

  The profiles 44 are fixed to these flat edges 24, 30. For example, a beam

  is fixed on its side 46 by screws 51, and projects 46a towards the opening.

  In the four embodiments described, the profiles 44 in the form of

  beams 45 are of substantially square or rectangular section.

  The nature and shape of the profiles 44 can be very different.

  According to a first alternative embodiment, the profiles 44 are of section

polygonal, for example hexagonal.

  According to a second alternative embodiment (Figures 8, 9), the profiles 44 are

  curved section with eastern curvature towards the outside 10.

  In this variant, when the frame 2 has no rebate 34, 35, as in the fourth embodiment, the profiles with curved section comprise a substantially flat face 46 fixed on the flat outer face

  24 of the frame 6 and the outer face 30 of the upright 7.

  When the frame has rebates 34, 35, the sections with curved section

  are fixed on the corner 42 of the upright 6 and the corner 43 of the upright 7.

  It is also possible to fix them on the side 36 or 37 of the upright 6, and the

side 28 or 39 of the upright 7.

  According to a fifth embodiment (Figure 10), the profiles 44 are under

shape of angles 66.

  An angle 66 has for example a wing 67 and a wing 68 perpendicular. The wing 67 is fixed on the side 37 of the rebate 34 for the

  upright 6, and on the side 39 of the rebate 35 for the upright 7.

  An angle iron 66 is for example fixed on the sides 37 and 39 by screws 69.

  We now describe variants of the number and positioning of

  profiles 44 relative to the frame 2.

  On the one hand in the previously described embodiments, the block door

  In certain variants of these embodiments, the door unit has at least one profile on a single lateral upright or on the three uprights of the

Claims (18)

Door unit (1) comprising a frame (2) receiving at least one opening (3) pivotally mounted relative to the frame (2), by means of hinges (9), characterized in that, in combination, the hinges (9) are of the double action type to allow the travel (C) of the opening (3) on the first side (10) and on the second side (11) of the frame, and the door unit (1) further comprises locking means (40) of the sash, mounted on the frame (2) on the first side (10) of the frame so as to interfere with the normal travel of the sash on this first side, which can be dismantled and reassembled using removable fixing means, the removal of which allows the opening of the opening first side (10).   2. Door unit (1) according to claim 1 characterized in that the means for   blocking (40) are mounted on at least one upright (6,7,8) of the frame.   3. Door unit (1) according to claim 1 or 2 characterized in that the locking means (40) form a continuous stop strip (57) of the stroke of the opening.   4. Door unit (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the locking means (40) are in the form of at least   a flapping profile (44) forming a stop against the opening.   7. Door unit (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized   in that the locking means (40) have a protruding part (46a) transversely to the frame, proximally towards the opening, intended to receive in support the part located opposite the opening so as to block its travel .   8. Door unit (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 7, characterized   in that the frame (2) has on the first side a rebate (34,35) capable of   receiving the locking means (40).   9. Door unit (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 7, characterized   in that the frame (2) does not have a rebate on the first side, at least one flap profile (44) component with the part of the frame made   adjoining after fixing a rebate serving to stop the opening.   10. Door unit (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 9, characterized   in that a flapping profile (44) is of square, rectangular section,   polygonal or curved curve oriented towards the first side.   11. Door unit (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 10,   characterized in that a flapping profile (44) is in one piece such   that a beam (45) or the like, hollow or solid.   12. Door unit (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 10,   characterized in that a flapping profile (44) comprises a support plate (61) fixed to the frame (2) by the fixing means (61a) and a removable element (62) able to cooperate with the support plate (61) by clipping or sliding. 13. Door unit (1) according to claim 8, characterized in that the locking means (40) are angles (66) fixed on the rebate (34,35) on its face   distal or its proximal face with respect to the opening stroke.   14. Door unit (11) according to any one of claims 1 to 13   characterized in that the fixing means are threaded screws (51, 69) with visible head allowing the assembly and disassembly without alteration of the means blocking and frame.   15. Door unit (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 14,   characterized in that the locking means (40) are made of wood, metal or plastic or the like.   16. Door unit (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 15,   characterized in that the spring (17) of the knot (12) of a hinge (9) located on the first side (10) is tensioned to hold the leaf, and the spring (18) of the knot (13) located on the second side (11) is either slightly stretched to provide a   closing assistance, be fully released.   17. Door unit (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises a frame (2) comprising a horizontal upper crosspiece (8) and two vertical lateral uprights (6,7) one of which supports the hinges (9 ) spaced and aligned, an opening (3) mounted on the hinges, two flapping profiles (44) mounted on the outside (10), fixed on the rebate (34,35) of the two] o uprights (6,7) of the standing (2) by means of threaded screws (51), the profiles (44) projecting laterally towards the opening (3) without hindering the passage of a person,   over a width of between 3 and 10 centimeters.   18.
