Abstract

The strainer comprises two containers (1,2) which are identical except for the bottom (10) of one which has holes (11). The containers can be fitted into each other. They comprise two superposed parts (12,13,22,23), the lower parts being of asymmetrical shape relative to a vertical median plane. The upper parts, wider than the lower parts, are symmetrical about the same plane and thus create rims (131,132,231,232) in certain points of the junction zone of these parts.

Description

The present invention relates to a device

multipurpose drip tray.

  Numerous draining devices are already known, which generally take the form of a container provided with gripping means and the

bottom is pierced with holes.

  These drip trays are essentially intended to be used for household and more particularly culinary tasks, in particular for the treatment of

foodstuffs.

  The use of these drip devices is limited to drainage, so that these do not allow on the one hand the recovery of the liquid from the drainage, unless a container of larger dimensions is available. , on the other hand temporary storage in a liquid before draining, and on the other hand still

  pressing or spinning after draining.

  The object of the present invention is to propose a drip tray device making it possible to remedy these

deficiencies.

  The drip device according to the invention essentially in that it comprises two identical containers with the exception of the bottom of one which has holes, said containers being, depending on the orientation of one

  relative to each other, nestable or stackable.

  When the container whose bottom is pierced is placed above the other container, the drip device according to the invention allows on the one hand the drainage with recovery of the liquid when said containers are stacked, and on the other share soaking before draining when

  said containers are nested.

  In addition, when the container whose bottom is pierced is placed below the other container, the drip device according to the invention allows pressing, spinning, and even extrusion, when said

containers are nested.

  According to a particular embodiment device according to the invention, the containers have two superimposed parts, the lower part being asymmetrical in relation to a vertical median plane, while the upper part, wider than said lower part, is in shape symmetrical with respect to said plane, thus creating ledges at certain points in the area of

joining of said parts.

  Depending on the orientation of one container relative to the other, these can be fitted when their lower parts are in agreement, or stacked when said lower parts are not in agreement, the upper container then resting on the

rims of the lower container.

  According to an additional characteristic of the device according to the invention, the edge of the containers has an outwardly extending rim in

the same horizontal plane.

  According to another additional characteristic of the device according to the invention, the containers have external means for limiting the height

  inserting one container into the other.

  According to another additional characteristic of the device according to the invention, the containers have, on the outside, regularly distributed around the periphery, over a short height near their edge, vertical ribs. The advantages and features of the present invention will become more apparent from the

  description which follows and which relates to the appended drawing,

  which represents a non-limiting embodiment thereof.

  device in another configuration.

  Referring to Figure 1 we can see that a drip device according to the invention comprises two containers 1 and 2 of the same shape, which differ only in that the bottom 10 of the container 1 is pierced with holes 11, while

  that the bottom 20 of the container 2 is full.

  If we also refer to Figure 2 which shows a plan view of the container 1, we can see that it has two superimposed parts, a lower part 12 of asymmetrical shape with respect to a median longitudinal vertical plane containing the axis XX ', and an upper part 13 of small height, symmetrical by

report to this plan.

  Thus, the longitudinal side walls 120 and 121 of the lower part 12 are not of the same shape, the wall 120 has a concave central part 122, while the wall 121 has two end parts

concaves 123.

  The longitudinal side walls 130 of the upper part 13 are rectilinear, so that horizontal flanges are created at the junction of the lower part 12 and the upper part 13, namely a flange 131 above the concave central part 122, and two flanges 132 above the concave end parts 123. It will be noted that in an identical manner, and as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the container 2 has a lower part 22 and an upper part 23 , the longitudinal side walls 220 and 221 of the lower part respectively having a concave central part 222, and two concave end parts 223, which creates ledges 231 and 232 at the junction of the longitudinal walls 230 of the upper part 23 and the walls

longitudinal 220 and 221.

  In FIGS. 2, 3 and 4, it can also be seen that externally, the receptacles 1 and 2 have, near their upper edge, respectively 14 and 24, on each of their transverse lateral wall respectively 15 and 25, and on a certain height,

  vertical ribs, respectively 16 and 26.

  It will be noted that the edges 14 and 24 of the containers 1 and 2 respectively, each have a rim, respectively 140 and 240, extending horizontally towards the outside, which comprises at each of their transverse lateral walls, respectively 15 and 25 , a handle, respectively 141 and 241, allowing in particular the manipulation of the containers, in particular their gripping or

their suspension.

  It will also be noted that the receptacles 1 and 2 have lower pins, respectively 10 and 20, below their bottoms, respectively 100 and 200, constituting

feet.

  Referring now to FIG. 5, it can be seen that the container 1 is fitted into the container 2, the concave parts of the container 1 taking place in the concave parts of the container 2, the nesting being limited in depth by the ribs 16 coming in

  stop against the edge 24 of the container 2.

  Referring now to FIG. 6, it can be seen that by making the container 1 make a U-turn along a vertical axis, the concave parts of the containers 1 and 2 are no longer in agreement, and the bottom 10 of the container 1 at the concave parts 123, and the concave part 122 not visible, bears on the edge

  231 and the edges 232, not visible.

  Different uses of the drip device according to the invention are possible depending on the position of the container 1 relative to the container 2. Thus in the position shown in the figure, it is possible to store objects in a liquid, then to carry out a draining, which can be followed, after removal of one or more of said

  objects, from the continuation of the storage phase.

  In the position shown in Figure 6, the drainage can be extended until drying if

  necessary, while allowing the recovery of the liquid.

  In another configuration, not shown, the container 2 can be fitted into the container 1, which allows pressing and spinning. It can also be envisaged to carry out extrusion operations, in this case, preferably, the container 2 does not have ribs 26, and the handles 141 and 241 are of design

  relatively robust to serve as supports.

  It goes without saying that the present invention does not

  cannot be limited to the foregoing description of one of

  its embodiments, liable to undergo a certain number of modifications without departing from the scope of

the invention.

  1) Drainer device characterized in that it comprises two containers (1, 2) identical except for the bottom (10) of one which has holes (11), said containers (1, 2) being , depending on the orientation of one relative to the other, nestable or stackable. 2) Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the containers (1, 2) have two superimposed parts (12, 13, 22, 23), the lower part (12, 22) being asymmetrical in relation to a plane vertical median, while the upper part (13, 23), wider than said lower part (12, 22), is symmetrical in relation to said plane, thus creating ledges (131, 132, 231, 232) in certain area points   joining said parts (12, 13, 22, 23).   3) Device according to claim 1 or claim 2, characterized in that the edge (14, 24) of the containers (1, 2) has externally a flange (140, 240) extending outward in the same plane horizontal. 4) Device according to claim 3, characterized in that the rim of the containers (1, 2) has handles (141, 241) allowing manipulation said containers (1, 2).   ) Device according to any one of   previous claims characterized in that the   containers (1, 2) have external means (16, 26) for limiting the insertion height of a container in the other.   6) Device according to claim 5, characterized in that the containers (1, 2) have externally, regularly distributed around the periphery, over a short height near their edge (14, 24), vertical ribs (16, 26).
