Abstract

The package made of plastic material with a closing device for the contained products is noteworthy in that it comprises a profiled receptacle (1) capable of receiving the contained product in its bottom part and having, starting from its peripheral side face (1.7), a plurality of re-entrant and clearance pairs of walls (1.1 - 1.9), capable of allowing the insertion, guidance and positioning of a profiled lid (3), the said lid having, on certain parts of its periphery, means (3a) capable of cooperating with and bearing against the above-mentioned re-entrant walls of the receptacle, after angular rotation of the said lid, in order to keep the contained product in a clamped position, the lid being in a locked position.

The invention relates to the technical sector of plastic packaging allowing the packaging of different products while allowing their visual presentation.

 We already know many packages to ensure such functions.

 The object of the invention lies in the design of a new package with a device for locking in position of the products, simple to implement and adjustable in position.

 According to a first characteristic of the invention, the plastic packaging with device for closing the contained products is remarkable in that it comprises a profiled receptacle capable of receiving in its bottom part the contained product, and having, a from its peripheral lateral face a plurality of pairs of re-entrant walls and of clearance, capable of allowing the introduction, guidance and positioning of a profiled cover, said cover having on certain parts of its periphery means capable of cooperating and taking pressing against the aforementioned re-entrant walls of the receptacle, after angular rotation of said cover, in order to maintain the product contained in the clamped position, the cover being in the locked position.

 According to another characteristic of the invention, the re-entrant walls formed on the side wall of the receptacle are arranged over all or part of their height with rack shapes allowing the introduction and positioning of means established on said cover.

 These characteristics and others will emerge clearly from the following description.

 In order to make the object of the invention more concrete, it is now described in a non-limiting manner in the figures of the drawings.

 As illustrated in Figure 1, the packaging is made of plastic, thermoformed by semple, and comprises a receptacle (1) capable of receiving a product (2) of various shapes, dimensions and volume.

 In the example illustrated, this product is not limited to a ball joint for orthopedic prosthesis.

 The receptacle (1) thus comprises a bottom part (1.1) extending by a peripheral peripheral wall of a certain height (h) then, at its upper part by a peripheral flange (1.2) forming a belt according to a square, rectangular profile , circular or with cut sides, as required.

The bottom face (1.1) is arranged either planarly, or with means (l.4) capable of guiding and centering the products contained. These means may be projections (1.5) arranged in a radial plane, being profiled for example with shapes with cut or inclined sides to facilitate the holding of the products. Their profile can be established according to the nature of the products selected. The aforementioned means can also be produced in the form of one or more fingers (1.6) projecting internally into the receptacle and capable of serving as centering points for a product having an internal recess such as for example and without limitation, a ball joint for orthopedic prostheses,
According to an important characteristic of the invention, the peripheral lateral face of the receptacle (1.7) is arranged with a plurality of pairs of walls (1.8 - 1.9) successively having re-entrant zones (1.8a) inside the receptacle and zones tP.9al of clearance projecting outwards. For example, the drawings show a shape of the receptacle with octagonal walls with four re-entrant zones and four clearance zones. All of these zones and corresponding walls thus allow the introduction, centering and positioning of a cover (3) of profiled blocking having, on certain parts (3a) of its peripheral edge (3b), means (4) capable of coming into contact and cooperating with the aforementioned re-entrant walls, to ensure its stable, locked positioning, and thus maintain the product or the article previously placed in the bottom of the receptacle.

 In an advantageous implementation, the re-entrant walls are arranged over all or part of their height with a rack profile thus defining a succession of notches (1.10).

 In a complementary manner, the parts (3a) of the cover have a tongue shape capable of being inserted on each rack between two consecutive notches, and this at the desired height.

 According to another advantageous arrangement of the invention, the positioning of the notches of the different racks is carried out by arranging at a different height relative to the height of the receptacle, the different notches, so as to play on the elasticity of the cover produced - even in thermoformed plastic. Thus, the facing walls have a positioning of the notches at the same height, while the adjacent walls have an offset in position of the notches by half a step for example relative to the previous ones.

 The width (11) defined between the re-entrant walls is greater than the transverse width of the cover taken in its middle part. By cons, the width (above is less than the distance (d) taken diagonally e between the ends of the tabs (3a) above.

 In addition, the width (12) taken diagonally between the release walls is greater than the distance (d) taken diagonally between the ends of the tabs (3a) of the cover.

 It is thus understood that said cover can be engaged very easily. inside the receptacle, then, by rotating said cover a quarter of a turn to an appropriate height relative to the product maintained.

Said cover thus allows the product to be clamped and held in position. Due to the design of the rack system, the cover is locked in position except by manually ensuring a complementary quarter-turn rotation in order to release it.

 To carry out this positioning, the cover advantageously has on its upper part (3c), gripping ribs (3d) facilitating its handling. The cover may also have in its lower part (3e) envied shapes or protrusions (3f) capable of bearing on the maintained product.

 It is thus understood that the packaging and its blocking device is particularly simple to produce, with great efficiency. It can be applied to any product.

-1- Plastic packaging with device for closing the contained products, characterized in that it comprises a receptacle (i; section capable of receiving the contained product in its bottom part, and having, from its peripheral lateral face (1.7) a plurality of pairs of re-entrant and release walls (1.8 - 1.9), capable of allowing the introduction, guidance and positioning of a profiled cover (3), said cover having means on certain parts of its periphery ( 3a) capable of cooperating and of bearing against the aforementioned re-entrant walls of the receptacle, after angular rotation of said cover, in order to keep the product contained in the closed position, the cover being in the locked position. -2- Packaging according to claim 1, characterized in that the re-entrant walls (1.8) formed on the side wall of the receptacle are arranged over all or part of their height with rack shapes allowing the introduction and positioning of mo-ens (3a) established on said cover (3). -3- Packaging according to claim 2, characterized in that said means (3a) formed on the cover are tabs.  -4- Packaging according to claim 2, characterized in that the rack shapes define notches arranged on the walls opposite at different heights. -5- Packaging according to claim 1, characterized in that the bottom (1) of the receptacle is arranged with guide means, for centering the product contained. -6- Packaging according to claim 1, characterized in that the cover (3) has, on its upper face gripping ribs to allow the angular orientation of the cover. -7- Packaging according to claim 6, characterized in that the underside of the cover has means for centering and positioning on the article contained.
