Abstract

The dispensing closure for a container has an automatic self sealing closure (20) with a sleeve for metered feed of the contents integrated into the neck of the container. The closure has a support (18) with grooves (8) to receive lugs (7) on the sleeve.

DESCRIPTION

  The present invention relates to a self-closing container with dispenser

  integrated, for various products or liquids, consumable or not.

  When using products such as bleach, white spirit, alcohol, etc., it happens to the user, once the cap is removed, to accidentally spill the container during use which can be dangerous, depending on the product or liquid contained in

the recipient.

  Some containers have child protection caps, but when using the product or liquid the cap is removed and there is nothing to prevent the product or liquid from spilling in the event of accidental fall, unless put the

cap after each handling.

  The device according to the invention overcomes this drawback.

  According to a first characteristic, it comprises a container provided, inside and at the level of the neck, with a sleeve which has on the outside and on each side a lug, one opposite to the other, intended to fit into the grooves located at

  inside and on each side of the neck to slide.

  Inside, around and at the lower level of the sleeve, it has legs fixed around a washer making it possible to fix the valve which comes into abutment around the collar located inside and in the lower part of the neck under pressure of the stainless spring interposed between the collar, upper part, located inside the neck and under the part

lower of the sleeve.

  It also has outside, around and at the lower level of the sleeve, chamfers, at regular intervals, so as to reduce friction between the sleeve and the spring. At the upper level of the sleeve, there are notches to allow a better grip, so when the user uses this container, and after removing the cap, he can choose two positions: "doser" or "open". For the "metering" position, just tilt the container and press the sleeve with a cloth to get a dose, and for the "open" position, just press and turn the sleeve to block it, the user can then spill the product or the liquid as with a traditional container but when this one is suddenly rested or accidentally spills, it closes automatically thanks to the vibrations of the shock which unlock the sleeve and the

  The device can have two positions, a "dispenser" and an "open" with automatic closure. On the outside and around the support, it can have thin lips to allow

  the seal between the support and the neck.

  The container may include a screw cap and a thread around the neck.

  Figure 1 shows in section the device according to the invention with the plug.

  Figure 3 shows the front of the metering sleeve provided with its lugs, its legs, its washer, its valve, its notches and its chamfers.

  With reference to these drawings, the device comprises a container (1) provided, inside and at the upper level of the neck (11), with a sleeve (2) which has, on the outside and on each side, a lug (7), one opposite the other, intended to be embedded in the grooves (8) located at

  inside and on each side of the neck (11).

  The grooves (8) have such a shape to allow the lugs (7) to lock when the user, after removing the plug (13), presses and turns on the sleeve (2) to keep the position "open" and to unlock automatically to close with

  vibrations when the container (1) accidentally overturns or is shocked.

  Inside, around and at the lower level of the sleeve (2) it has lugs (4) fixed around a washer (12) allowing the valve (5) to be fixed which abuts around the collar (6), lower part in the neck (11), under the pressure of the stainless spring (3) interposed between the collar (6), upper part in the neck (11) and the lower part of the

sleeve (2).

  It also includes, on the outside, around and at the lower level of the sleeve (2), chamfers (9), at regular intervals, to reduce friction between the sleeve (2) and the

stainless spring (3).

  At the upper level of the sleeve (2), there are notches (10) to allow a

  better grip, so the user can choose between two positions: "doser" or "open".

  For the "metering" position, just tilt the container (1) and press the sleeve (2) with a cloth to get a dose, and for the "open" position, just press and turn the sleeve (2) to block it, and thus be able to spill the product or liquid as with a traditional container but when the latter is suddenly rested or accidentally overturned, it closes automatically with the vibrations of the shock and the effect of the spring stainless steel (3) which release the sleeve (2) which rises to close the

  container (1) thus preventing the product or liquid from escaping.

  The device prevents products or liquids from evaporating, giving off odors or

  let the gas from the soft drinks escape.

  The device according to the invention is particularly intended for containers which can

  contain various products or liquids, consumable or not.

  In the embodiment according to FIGS. 4, 5, 6 and 7, the container (1) comprises, inside the neck (11), a device (20), composed of a support (18) provided, at inside and on the upper level, a metering sleeve (2) which has, on the outside and around, three pins (7) intended to slide in the grooves (8) located inside and around the

support (18).

  Inside the grooves (8), located inside the support (18), it has micro-grooves (9) so that the lugs (7) of the dosing sleeve (2) do not slide in the "closed" position "when the user wishes to keep the" open "position when spilling the product or liquid, so that only a shock can allow the lugs (7) of the metering sleeve (2) to be released with the vibrations of the shock and the effect of the spring

  stainless or food (3) thus closing the container.

  At the lower level of the metering sleeve (2) it has tabs (4) which connect between

  them to form an orifice (12) allowing the valve (5) to be fixed with its clips (17).

  The valve (5) abuts around the collar (6), outer and lower part of the support (18), with the effect of the stainless or food spring (3), interposed between the collar (6) in the support (18 ) blocked at the lower level in a blind hole (15), and under the part

  lower of the metering sleeve (2) on one of the legs (4).

  The grooves (8), located in the support (18), have such a shape to allow two positions: a "metering", by pressing on the metering sleeve (2), and an "open" to

  automatic closing, by pressing and turning the dosing sleeve (2).

  On the outside and around the support (18), it has thin lips (14) to allow

  the seal between the support (18) and the neck (11) of the container (1).

  At the upper level and all around the support (18), it has a flange (19).

  The device according to the invention is particularly intended to be embedded and to be integrated into the neck of various receptacles which may contain various consumable products or liquids

or not.

Claims (16)
