Abstract

The system uses a double pivot arrangement. The first pivot connects the mast (L) and its extension arm (B) to the structure(S) which joins together the hulls of the boat. It is formed about an axis (A) connected to the structure and passing through the two first elements. The second pivot connects the mast and its extension arm to the mass (M) formed by the cabin and cockpit. Rigging can be made under sail without altering the stability or propulsive capacity of the boat by limiting the movement of the mast.
