Definitions
- access bridges are used which are real bare planks or planks found occasionally, sometimes and especially in pleasure boating, there are slightly more sophisticated gangways, but they are limited to a board with casters, having no way of dampening the movements of the swell or the untimely moods of the sea.
- the present invention relates to a mooring bridge for boats at docks, it brings together three essential functions, access bridge, to dampen the movements of the hull of the boat when the water is agitated, finally to adapt to all forms of boat hulls possible.
- the invention is therefore a very handy walkway, constructed using a light material, such as aluminum or polyester or any other light and non-corrosive material, it makes it possible to absorb and absorb all movements of the boat by keeping it firmly at the quay, moreover it has the main characteristic of adapting with precision to all possible hull shapes, finally, it is telescopic and therefore not bulky.
- the invention relates to the following arrangements.
- the passageway of the gangway is formed by a hollow metallic box of rectangular shape coated on its passage face with a bonded coating which is impermeable to water.
- the passage box, inside has a telescopic shock-absorbing box provided with two anti-corrosion protected springs of unlimited duration.
- the shock absorbing telescopic box has at its end a ball joint with gears, on which two arms are articulated which form a fork with variable adaptations.
- the mooring fork is provided with a number of rubberized shock absorbing rollers, fixed vertically in its inner edge.
- a variant consists in providing the entire interior surface of the fork, in thick rubber, in place of the rollers.
- the gangway is provided with four fastening and mooring rings, two at the start of the gangway and one at each end of the fork, in thick rubber, in place of the rollers.
- FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a mooring step according to the invention
- Figure 2 is a vertical sectional view of mooring bridge according to the invention
- Figure 5 is a top view of the mooring bridge according to the invention
- Figure 4 is a fluoroscopic view of half of the components in action of the bridge according to the invention
- Figure 5 is a view of the multiple uses, possibilities and functions of the mooring bridge according to the invention
- Figure 6 is a view of docking at sea by two boats using the aft mooring gangways according to the invention
- FIG. 7 is a view of docking at sea by two boats using the forward mooring gangways according to the invention
- FIG. 8 is a view of an occasional port, the aerial pontoons of which are constituted by the mooring gangways according to the invention;
- the mooring bridge consists of a hollow metal box, passage 1, inside thereof a telescopic sound absorber 2, slides by means of two springs, the telescopic box has at its end a ball joint with gears 5, on which are articulated two arms 4 which each have two rubber damping rollers 5, moreover, the gangway has four points d 'fasteners 6, which allow it to be fixed on the one hand to the boat and the quay, two at each end, also a right-angled support shoulder 7, to rest on the quay.
- the mooring bridge comprises two springs 8 and 9 protected against corrosion and of unlimited duration, the one of the springs damped the front movements of the boat: compression spring 8, the other spring damped the rear movements of the boat: tension spring 9; the spring 8 is held in place by two centralizing tenons 10 and 11, the tension spring 9 is integral with the tenon 11 and at the other end it comprises a sliding rod 12, in the tenon 10.
- the mooring bridge is covered with a floor covering 15, glued to passage 1 and 2, which is waterproof, and non-slip .
- FIG. 4 is half of an X-ray walkway according to the invention, there is the opening angle 14 of an articulated arm 4 and its multiple possibilities, moreover, by transparency, it sees the different components of half of a mooring gangway.
- FIG. 6 shows the use on the high seas of the mooring gangway for aft docking 24, between two boats, possibility not shown, of using docking also on starboard and port side.
- Figure 7 shows the use on the high seas of the mooring gangway for mooring before 25, between boats.
- Figure 8 shows the possible creation of an occasional port 26, by assembling a number of gangways and boats.
- a possible variant of the invention relates to long-span mooring gangways which are provided in an embodiment of several telescopic boxes juxtaposed one to the other, thus being able to fold and be stored easily.
- the invention can be used in all cases where it is necessary to go from a boat to a quay or from a quay to a boat, the multiple possibilities of access, use and application allow construction by association footbridges and boats, occasional harbors. It can be used as shock absorbers when docking between boats or hard docks. It can maintain and adapt with precision using its articulation to all possible hull shapes. Particularly interesting applications can be docking offshore or on the high seas from one boat to another, especially if they are of a large tonnage. Its possibilities, therefore, concern all kinds of boats: whether fishing, pleasure, cruising, industrial or commercial.
