Abstract

The transmission unit is composed in one part of a housing (1) which encloses the shaft of a differential (2) supported on its ends in two openings (7) in the housing (1). The torque is transferred by the intermediary of two satellite gears (3) to the two exit coaxial planet gears (4,5). The other part consists of a closing cover (6) of the housing (1) fixed on it by fixing screws (8). The openings (7) have an oblong form which allows the shaft (2) to move in the latter when the cover (6) is clamped onto the housing (1) in view of overcoming the operating play inside the mechanism.
