Abstract

The receptacle comprises a pot (1) with a base (1b) and a top opening (1a), its body being cylindrical in shape, but having its walls (1c) curved and its base weighted so that it always returns automatically to a stable vertical position when tilted. The side walls of the pot are in two curved sections (1c1, 1c2), the upper one being of greater radius than the lower. The weight (2) can be made from a moulded or injected material such as a plastics, and can incorporate a metal wire (3) acting as an anti-theft device.
