Abstract

The present invention relates to a palisade portion and a palisade capable of being produced by combining such portions.

 An object of the present invention is to provide a palisade portion and a palisade of modular structure such that they can be manufactured repeatedly.

 Another object of the present invention is to provide a palisade portion and a palisade capable of being prefabricated and quickly installed or dismantled.

 Another object of the present invention is to provide a palisade portion and a security palisade, which are not easily removable.

 Another object of the present invention is to provide a palisade portion and a palisade capable of being partly of wood and partly of metal, giving it, on the one hand, great resistance and, on the other hand, a very aesthetic appearance.

 Another object of the present invention is to provide a portion of a palisade and a palisade capable of constituting at least in part an enclosure or a delimitation of an area for the practice of sports or street games.

 The palisade portion according to the invention comprises a longitudinal panel comprising a vertical end part having a post, a post having a vertical groove in which engages said end part of said panel, a longitudinally elongated element forming a hand current extending above said panel and said post, an upper means for fixing said elongated element connected to the latter and comprising a vertical tab extending downward adjacent to said post and / or said upright to constitute a stack , and a coupling means for coupling together said upright of said panel, said post and said vertical tab.

Referring to FIGS. 1 to 5, it can be seen that a palisade has been generally identified by the reference 1 which comprises two palisade portions generally identified by the references 2 and 3 likely to be coupled longitudinally and to be fixed to the ground.

 The palisade portions 2 and 3 respectively comprise longitudinal wooden panels 4 and 5 which are constituted in the example by four longitudinal boards 6 and 7 placed on the field one above the other and slightly spaced, the ends of which are fixed laterally on end uprights 8 and 9 by transverse screws 8a and 9a.

The palisade portions 2 and 3 also include opposite end metal posts 10 and 11 of section in the form of

 For fixing the elongated elements 12 and 13, there are provided metal brackets 14 and 15 which include longitudinal lugs 16 and 17 capable of being fixed below these elongated elements 12 and 13 by screws 18 and 19 and which comprise vertical legs 20 and 21 extending downward so that they can be arranged between the uprights 8 and 9 and the bottom of the interior spaces of the posts 10 and 11 in order to constitute stacks, the end faces of the uprights 8 and 9 comprising notches 22 and 23 longitudinally set back in which these vertical tabs 20 and 21 can be adjusted.

 For fixing to the ground of the portions 2 and 3, metal fastening pieces 24 and 25 are provided which include vertical tabs 26 and 27 which extend upwards to be arranged between the uprights 8 and 9 and the bottom of the spaces inside of the posts 10 and 11 in order to constitute stacks, the end faces of the uprights 8 and 9 comprising notches 22a and 23a longitudinally set back in which these vertical tabs 26 and 27 can be adjusted. floor further comprise sealing tabs 28 and 29 which extend downwards and which are capable of being offset longitudinally relative to the posts 10 and 11.

 Also, the uprights 8 and 9 and the posts 10 and 11 have, at mid-height, corresponding intermediate passages capable of being traversed by an intermediate coupling and longitudinal tightening member constituted by an intermediate bolt 47, these passages of the uprights 8 and 9 having counterbores.

 The palisade portions 2 and 3 and the palisade 1 can be manufactured and assembled in the following manner.

 First, in the workshop, the panels 4 and 5 are prefabricated in an identical manner, respectively provided with their two end uprights 10 and 11, the elongated elements 12 and 13, the upper brackets 16 and 17 and the fixing parts. lower 24 and 25.

 The longitudinal tabs 16 and 17 of the brackets 14 and 15 are fixed against the underside of the elongated elements 12 and 13.

 A hole is made in the ground, where the palisade is to be mounted, for receiving the lower parts of the posts 10 and 11.

 Referring now to FIGS. 6 to 10, it can be seen that a palisade generally identified by the reference 53 has been shown which comprises palisade portions generally identified by the references 54 and 55 and which constitute an alternative embodiment of the fence 1 described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 5.

 Still in the workshop, the following assemblies are carried out.

 The end parts of the panels 58 and 59 with their uprights 60 and 61 are engaged in the posts 56 and 57.

 The brackets 70 and 67 are mounted on the elongated elements 73 and 74 by engaging their longitudinal tabs 69 and 70 in their recesses 71 and 72, which are fixed by means of screws 80 and 81.

 These elongated elements 73 and 74 are mounted with vertical legs 67 and 68 of the brackets 65 and 66 in the longitudinal grooves 62 and 63 of the posts 56 and 57 and these brackets 65 and 66 and the posts 56 and 57 are prefixed on the uprights 60 and 61 of the panels 58 and 59 by means of longitudinal screws 82 and 83.

 Arrived on site, we proceed as follows.

 The plate 74 is mounted on the ground fixing studs 77.

 The portions 54 and 55 are arranged as they have just been mounted in the workshop, one at the end of the other, back to back, by placing the tab 73 for fixing to the ground between the posts 56 and 57, in the vertical channel 64 formed by their grooves 62 and 63, the elongated elements being arranged end to end.

 Then, coupling and tightening bolts 84, 85 and 86, corresponding to the coupling bolts 33, 40 and 47 of the previous example, are installed longitudinally, in corresponding passages previously produced in the workshop. Thus, the upper coupling and tightening bolt 84 extends through the upper stack consisting successively of the upright 60, the core of the post 56 and the lug 67 of the portion 54 and the lug 68, the core of the post 57 and the upright 61 of the portion 55.  The verticality and the height position of the palisade portions 54 and 55 are adjusted by acting on the fixing and locking nuts 78 and 79 of the ground fixing studs 77.

 Finally, the nuts 78 and 79 of the studs 77 and the longitudinal coupling and tightening bolts 84, 85 and 86 are blocked.

 The plate 74 can then be drowned in concrete in order to constitute a straight floor if the latter has been placed at a level below that of the ground. In another example, the plate could be directly fixed on an erected floor.

 As in the previous example, only the longitudinal fixing bolts 54, 85 and 86 are accessible. In this variant, however, the heads of these bolts are external to the uprights 60 and 61 but are designed so that they can be operated only by a special tool.

 As in the previous example, construction of the fence 53 can be continued by successively installing portions identical to the portions 54 and 55 on fixing lugs to the ground identical to the lugs 73.

 The present invention is not limited to the examples described above. Many alternative embodiments are possible without departing from the scope of the appended claims.
