Abstract

The folding furniture has two tubes (1,2) which slide in each other. The inner tube (1) is articulated to the frame of the furniture (3) and the outer tube (2) is articulated to the lower surface of the table top (4). The tubes are locked in their extended position by a clip. The outer tube has a hole through which a stud (8) on the inner tube passes to lock the tubes. A spring, in the inner tube, holds the stud in the hole.
