Abstract

The vehicle side wing (11), which is fixed onto a support bracket (14), has a connecting edge (15) in contact with edge (16) of a raisable boot (13). The wing connecting edge is extended transversely under the boot by a fixing base (17) limited by a first boot support rib (20). The base carries a second convex wing tipping support rib (25). This second rib is brought into contact with the support bracket under the action of the force exerted by the boot on the first rib and against the elastic return force exerted on the wing. The second convex support has a succession of support heads fastened on the wing fixing base. The fixing base has reception holes for the fixing screws (28). A compression washer (26) is located between the screw head and the fixing base (17).
