Abstract

The bed has an horizontal frame (1) which supports the mattress base. Each end of the frame is fixed to a telescopic upright (4) which is adjustable in height and it is moved by a vertical electric strut (5). The upright and jack are parallel and are fixed to a support base (6) by a plate (11). The outer mobile tube (9) of the upright and the rod (13) of the strut rest on the horizontal crossbar (14) of the head of foot panel that supports the frame. They are on either side of the longitudinal plane of symmetry of the bed.
