Abstract

The cage consists basically of a box structure (1) fitted with a grill (3), covering an opening, and which is hinged to one of the sides (11) of the opening. On the side (12) of the opening, opposite the hinge, is fitted a catch piece (4), which consists of a moving part (40), which moves in vertical translation, along the side. The catch piece is provided with a leg (42), which is roughly horizontal, and allows the catch to be moved vertically.The vertical movement of the catch, allows the catch to be disengaged from the horizontal rods (31 and 32), which are fixed to the grill, and this allows the door to be opened, under the pressure of a spring (5) fitted to the grill. When the door is closed the ends of the rods are engaged in notches (400 and 401), which are cut into the side flange (402) of the catch piece.
