Abstract

A letter card consists of a single sheet of card, made in an L-shape with three panels (1, 2a, 2b) of the same size and shape. One of the panels (2a) can carry a picture, and the inner surfaces of all three panels can be used for correspondence. Once the card has been written, the picture panel (2a) is folded inwards and the other two panels folded to enclose it, leaving the outer surface of panel (1) to be filled in with the details of the addressee. Once closed, the card can be sealed with a number of self-adhesive tabs (7) stuck over the edges. These can be in different colours, in various shapes, and can be printed. In a variant of the design the letter card can have four panels in a T-shape, folded together in a similar manner.

Description

 The present invention relates to a card envelope with several parts of equal dimensions, produced in one piece in the shape of an "L". Two of these parts are separable, and the whole is sealable by means of self-adhesive elements.

 In leisure correspondence, it is known practice to use an envelope when sending a card, said at will (parties, birthdays, etc.).

 Those who from a manufacturing point of view lead on the one hand; the manufacture of the card and on the other hand, that of the envelope.

However, it turns out that the consumer is increasingly looking for a product that is easy to use, both in its understanding (eg explanatory note) and in its handling.

Indeed, it happens that it must be repeated several times to insert the card in the envelope, the latter often being of just dimensions.

In addition, it results (except the intermediaries), for the consumer, and for a product as banal "as it is, a fairly high cost.

 In addition, almost all of the envelopes of this product sold individually (card, envelope in cellophane) are to be sealed with a strip of "scrub to moisten, which is not a very pleasant use. D 'especially since it sometimes happens, to cut oneself.

 Card envelope according to the invention overcomes these drawbacks.

 Indeed, according to one of its characteristics, it is a "two in one" product.

That is to say that the card and the envelope are produced in one and the same first operation, in one piece in the shape of an "L", during manufacture.

It is at the second stage, graphic printing, that the two elements will be distinguished. On one side the envelope, with its postal insert, and on the other the card, with its illustration and its correspondence part.

The separation of the latter two being ensured by means of detached perforations.

 It is easier to use, in its handling, a "two in one" product ...

 A last characteristic resides in the fact that the user will no longer have, as is the case, to "moisten the scrub" to seal the envelope. He can do this by means of four or five (depending on the format; vertical or horizontal) self-adhesive elements.

According to particular embodiments:
- A fourth part may be provided in the extension and along the long side of the correspondence part.

 - The self-adhesive elements can be illustrated, in strips or, square, rectangular, or round.

 - The perforations with detachment ensuring the separation of the envelope and the card, can also be a "forced grooving".

 - The reading direction of the card can be horizontal or vertical.

 Figure 5 shows the card envelope, vertical format, with its variant (fourth part).

 With reference to these drawings, card envelope consists of an envelope part (1) and a card part (2).

The latter is divided into two equal parts (2a and 2b), by a groove (3), (2a) used for the printed illustration, (2b) of flap, to correspondence.

 The envelope part (1) comprises a postal insert (address, stamp) (5), marks, with self-adhesive elements (6), and 5 in number in FIGS. 1 3 and 5, and 4 in FIG. 2, self-adhesive elements (7).

 The card part (2) can be separated from the envelope part (1) by means of detached perforations (4).

 As illustrated on plate 3, the user after having written his text on the card (2) in part (2b), folds (A) the illustrated part (2a) according to the creasing (3) on (2b).

Then flap (B) the envelope part (1) along the perforations (4) on (2a and 2b) said card (2).

 It seals everything (fig 4) after removing the protective films from the five self-adhesive elements (7), which it folds over (2b).

 The printed graphic illustration, of the card (2) in part (2a), as the printing of the postal inset (5) and the marks (6) of the envelope part (1) are executed, after total cutting of the support, preferably in card stock, of said card envelope.

From this slightly rectangular cardboard support, we therefore cut two equal sides, nested "head to tail" in the shape of an "L".

 The self-adhesive elements (7) whatever their shapes and colors, come from a separate production.

They are brought back after having previously removed, on the back, a strip of the protective film (previously precut during manufacture), of a fifth of their surface, according to and on the marks (6) of the envelope part (1) .

(see figure 3).

 According to a variant not illustrated, a "forced grooving" can replace the perforations (4). The self-adhesive elements (7), square, can be replaced by rectangular, round, combined, or even strips.

 According to another variant illustrated in FIG. 5, a fourth part, of dimensions equal to the other three, can be provided.

It will be in the extension and along the long side, of the correspondence part (2b).

This other part (2b ') rather has a decorating function, complementary to the illustration in part (2a), by means of openwork of various forms of cutouts, printed.

Of course, on this condition there, a creasing (3 ') ensures the mobility of the part (2b') on (2b).

 By way of nonlimiting example, the card (2a, 2b) will have dimensions of the order of 23 cm in length and 18 cm in width.

 Card envelope according to the invention is intended for leisure correspondence.

Claims (10)

 1) Card envelope with several parts of equal dimensions, produced in a single piece in the shape of an "L", characterized in that an illustrated part (2a) folds over a corresponding part (2b) according to a creasing (3 ). Another envelope part (1) folds it over these last two parts, according to perforations (4). The whole is sealed, by means of self-adhesive elements (7).  2) Card envelope according to claim 1, characterized in that the envelope (1) comprises a postal insert (5) and markers, with self-adhesive elements (6).  3) Card envelope according to one of claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the envelope (1) comprises self-adhesive elements (7), 4 or 5 in number, applicable according to and on, the pins (6) .  4) Card envelope according to claim 3, characterized in that the self-adhesive elements (7) are of colors see, even illustrated, in strips, or square, rectangular or round.  5) Card envelope according to claim 1, characterized in that the card (2) is divided into two equal parts (2a and 2b) by a creasing (3).  6) Card envelope according to claim 1, characterized in that a fourth part (2b ') of dimensions equal to the other three, can be extended along the long side of the correspondence part (2b).  7) The card envelope according to claim 6, characterized in that the part (2b ') rather has a decorative function complementary to the illustration of the card part (2a), by means of perforation, of various forms of cutouts, printed.  8) Card envelope according to one of claims 6 and 7, characterized in that a creasing (3 ') ensures the mobility of the part (2b') on the correspondence part (2b).  9) Card envelope according to one of claims 1 and 5 characterized in that the envelope (1) is separable from the card (2) by means of detached perforations or "forced grooving" (4).  10) Card envelope according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the reading direction of the card can be vertical or horizontal.
