Abstract

The marker consists of a thin, flat clip (1) which can be opened to an angle close to 90 degrees to allow it to be fitted over the edges of pages at right angles to the fold line and held in place by an anchoring element (2). The anchoring element is in the form of a strip inserted through two slits (4.B) in the clip, with the length of the strip greater than the distance between staples (6). The clip can have two or more pairs of slits to suit magazines of different sizes. The clip and anchoring strip can be made from thin plastic or card, preferably plastic coated; it can be used to carry publicity material.
