Abstract

Document holder (1) comprises back (4) and cover (5) linked together by folding edge (6). Document (2) is held in place against back using clip. Clip is attached in corner (8) of back, next to folding, so as to clip document at its upper corner (7). Sheets (3) forming document can then be manipulated by pivoting them around clipped corner (7). Clip has parallel upper (16) and lower jaws, linked by web (17). An Independent claim is also included for document holder.

Description

The invention relates to office supplies.

It concerns a support for presenting a document consisting of one or of a plurality of sheets, this support comprising a back intended to receive said document, as well as a clip associated with remains on the back.

Many techniques are known for assembling leaves so temporary without puncturing them. Among them are the trombones.

These techniques, rustic, have many disadvantages. The trombones, of great elasticity, quickly lose their shape, the most often after a few uses, thus losing their clamping capacity.

Manufacturers have resorted to more sophisticated mechanisms aimed at ensure the maintenance of one or more sheets on a support, with a view to presentation and possibly their use, including a clip associated with a support.

We know, in particular, spring mechanisms, fixed in the part superior of a rigid or semi-rigid support and making it possible to maintain of a plurality of sheets.

The springs of the spring mechanisms are complex to produce, bulky, subject to rust and loss of elasticity, which is detrimental closes leaves.

We also know mechanisms with sliding metal clip, forming jumper, and arranged halfway up the binding of a flap shirt.

These mechanisms do not ensure firm or even very firm, leaves, turn out to be impractical and impractical, and large size. In addition, it often happens that the clamp hangs in the notch provided to allow its sliding.

Document FR-A-2 448 443 discloses a binding device for a bundle of sheets provided with a profile in the form of a clamp of length substantially equal to a dimension of the bundle, articulated by one of its ends so that the bundle is pinched by the profile.

Known mechanisms spring or clamp, located in a part median of a lateral edge or top of the leaves, or extending over the entire edge of the sheets as proposed in document FR-A-2 448 443, clutter on the leaves a large area, in which it is impossible to read or write any information.

The device according to document FR-A-2 448 443 does not allow access to easy way to the leaves.

The clamp extending the entire length of the leaves and also enclosing a flat rectangular folded on itself, it is difficult to keep open the bundle without forcibly bending - that is, damaging - the leaves along the profile.

The aim of the invention is to overcome these disadvantages by proposing a support for presentation for a document consisting of one sheet or a plurality of leaves, able to combine a firm hold of the leaves, while being easy and convenient handling, small footprint and aesthetics attractive.

This clamp is for example formed of a section section in the general shape of U, made of a metallic or plastic material, and comprising a lower jaw and upper jaw, connected by a soul substantially parallel to the edge of the back in the active position, the upper jaw having in front of the lower jaw a lip forming the said surface support, this lip being inclined relative to the soul.

According to one embodiment, the upper jaw has a portion curved inward. of the clamp, and forming the said lip, the latter being able to form with the soul an angle between 30 degrees and 60 degrees, including 45 degrees.

In addition, a tab flap can be provided, connected to the back by the edge of it and rotatable relative to the back around the edge, the said tongue being able to cooperate with a corner of the document to be interposed between the clamp and said document when the clamp is in the active position.

The clamp forms a lever relative to its axis of rotation, the latter being eccentric down to the clamp, so that the pivoting of the clamp from its active position towards its inactive position is carried out counter-clockwise.

A second object of the invention is a presentation folder of a document consisting of one or a plurality of sheets, this folder comprising a presentation medium as described above, and a cover.

The cover can be connected to the back and separated from it by a fold, said cover being movable relative to the back and can take a so-called folded position in which it forms with the back a substantially zero angle to substantially cover the document, and a so-called open position in which it forms with the back an angle substantially flat to free access to the document.

According to one embodiment, the cover comprises a notch located in a corner of the blanket near the fold, next to the clamp, this notch being substantially complementary shape of the clamp, so as to allow the cover to open regardless of the position of the clamp.

A tongue forming a flap may be provided, connected to the back by the edge thereof, said tongue being adapted to cooperate with a corner of the document to be interposed between the clamp and said document when the clamp is in position active, said tab being substantially complementary shape of the notch practiced in the cover, this tongue being obtained by the cutting this notch in the cover.

A third object of the invention is a set of presentation of a document consisting of one or a plurality of sheets, this set including the said document, as well as a presentation medium as described above or a presentation shirt as described above.

FIG. 1 shows a folder 1 for presenting a document 2 consisting of one or a plurality of sheets 3 of any format, for example of A4 format.

This shirt 1 comprises a back 4 and a cover 5 connected by an edge common 6 forming fold of the shirt 1.

The folder 1 forms the presentation support of the document, the back 4 being format substantially greater than document 2, so that it both supported and protected when laid flat on the back 4.

A direction is said to be longitudinal when it is substantially parallel to the fold 6; the terms "up" and "down" are defined relative to this direction.

A direction is said lateral or transverse when it is substantially perpendicular to the fold 6 being contained in the plane formed by the back 4 laid flat.

A direction is elevation when it is perpendicular to the direction preceding. The terms "upper" and "lower" are defined in relation to this direction.

Document 2 is lying on your back so that a top corner of the document 2 coincides with a high corner 8 of the back 4 near the fold 6 of the shirt 1.

The cover 5, which is for example of the same format as the back 4, is articulated around the fold 6 and can take a folded position in which she forms with the back 4 a zero angle and substantially covers the document 2 (FIG. 4), as well as an open position in which it forms with the back 4 an angle substantially flat to free access to the document 2 (Figure 1).

The liner 1 can be made of a synthetic material, for example polypropylene or PVC.

According to an embodiment illustrated in FIG. 4, the cover is formed a flap 9 in the form of a narrow strip of material extended along the fold 6, which is associated with a transparent sheet 10 or translucent, so as to reveal the document in folded position.

In order to maintain the document 2 in place on the back 4, so temporarily, a clip 11 is associated with remains at the back in the vicinity of the edge 6 forming fold.

The clamp 11 is mounted sliding and pivoting on the back 4 about an axis R of rotation substantially perpendicular to the back 4.

By pivoting, the clamp 11 can take a so-called inactive position in which it is removed from the back 4, and an active position in which it covers it at the less partially.

The clamp 11 is located near or in the corner 8 of the back 4, on the side of the fold 6, to grip the document 2 by its upper corner 7 and allow the manipulation of the document 2 by pivoting the sheets 3 around the corner 7 enclosed in document 2.

For this purpose, the clamp 11 comprises a lip 12 comprising a bearing surface 13 able to exert on document 2 a tightening force to ensure his keeping on the back 4.

This bearing surface 13 is inclined, or has an inclined edge 14, relative to at the edge 6 of the back 4 when the clamp 11 is in the active position.

In the active position, the bearing surface 13, or the edge 14, forms with the edge 6 of the back 4 an angle between 30 ° and 60 °, preferably about 45 °.

The clamp 11 is monobloc, and is preferably made of a rigid material, in order to give it perennial clamping capabilities.

According to one embodiment, the clamp 11 is formed of a section section transverse elevation generally U-shaped, made of a material metallic or plastic.

For example, the clamp 11 is made by folding a sheet of steel or aluminum.

The clip 11 comprises a lower jaw 15 and a top jaw 16 substantially parallel and facing, extended substantially parallel at the back 4, and connected by a core 17 which, when the clamp 11 is in position active, is substantially longitudinal and parallel to the edge 6 of the back 4.

The lip 12 is for example formed by an oblique free edge 18 of the jaw upper 16, curved inwardly of the clamp 11, and forming with the core 17 an angle β between 30 ° and 60 °, preferably about 45 °, so that α and β have substantially the same value.

The upper jaw 16 has substantially, in the plane of the back 4, the shape of a right triangle whose hypotenuse is formed by the free edge 18 of the jaw 16.

In a plane of cross-sectional elevation, the lip 12 is substantially V shape with flattened tip.

According to an alternative embodiment not shown, the clamp 11 being made in a plastic material such as PVC, the lip 12 forms a protuberance in protruding from the upper jaw 16 towards the inside of the clamp 11, extended on along the free oblique edge 18 of the jaw 16 by adjoining it.

In order to facilitate the sliding of the clamp against the back 4 during its pivoting, the liner 1 may comprise a tongue 19 forming a flap, connected to the back by the edge 6 thereof and pivotable relative to the back 4 around the edge 6, of the same way as the cover 5.

The tongue 19 has substantially the same shape and the same dimensions as the upper jaw 16 of the clamp 11, so that when the tongue 19 is folded on the back 4, she covers her corner 8.

When the document 2 is positioned on the back 4, the tab 19 cooperates with and covers the corner 7 of the document 2, so that when the clamp 11 is in active position, the tongue 19 is interposed between the upper jaw 16 and document 2.

In addition to facilitating the sliding of the clamp 11, the tongue 19 protects the document 2 during and after placing gripper 11 in the active position, in distributing the clamping force transmitted to the sheets 3 by the bearing surface 13.

In order to firmly hold the sheets 3 on the back 4, the distance between the support surface 13 of the lower jaw 15 is lower, of manufacture, to the cumulative thickness of the tongue 19 and the back 4.

Moreover, in order to facilitate the manipulation of the clamp 11, and to allow its maximum distance of the back 4 in the inactive position in order to completely release the document 2, the axis R of rotation of the clamp is eccentric with respect to the clip 11.

According to an embodiment illustrated in the figures, the axis R is eccentric towards the bottom of the clamp 11, so that the clamp 11 form lever relative to its axis R, and moves from its active position to its inactive position by pivoting in the direction counterclockwise.

According to a variant not shown, the axis of rotation R can be eccentric to the top, so that the clamp 11 moves from its active position to its position inactive by turning clockwise.

To temporarily associate document 2 with folder 1, the procedure is as following.

The clamp 11 being in its inactive position and the tongue 19 being in position open, we position the document 2 on the back 4 so that their corners respective 7, 8 coincide.

The tongue 19 is folded over the corner 7 of the document 2, and the clip 11 to put it in the active position, the corner 7 being sandwiched between the back 4 and the tongue 19, being gripped by the jaws 16, 17.

Document 2 being held on the back 4 only by its corner 7, it is easy to flip through the sheets 3 diagonally from bottom to top and both laterally from right to left around corner 7.

In this way, the leaves 3 spread of the back 4 do not tend to return to their initial position, since only held by their corner 7.

Moreover, the arrangement of the clamp 11 and the tongue 19 in a corner of the back 4 of the folder 1, allows to encumber on the document 2 a space reduced, which facilitates reading and possible writing.

In addition, to allow the manipulation of the clamp 11 despite the presence of the cover 5, a notch 20 is made in a high corner 21 of the cover 5 located next to the upper corner 8 of the back 4 and opposite the clamp 11, this notch 20 adjacent the edge 6.

The notch 20 is larger than the clip 11, for example substantially complementary shape of the clamp 11, so as to allow opening and folding the cover 5 on the back 4 regardless of the position of the clamp 11.

When the cover 5 is folded down, the clamp 11 being in the active position, the notch surrounds the clip 11.

In order to facilitate the manufacture of the jacket, the tongue 19 is for example made by cutting the notch 20, the shapes of the tongue 19 and notch 20 being complementary.

By performing this cutting, and folding on the back 4 the tongue 19 and formed, one releases in fact in the cover 5 a free space which constitutes the notch 20.

Optionally, we can subsequently make additional cuts to better adapt, if necessary, the shape of the notch 20 and the tongue 19 to the shape of the clip 11.

In addition, according to an alternative embodiment illustrated in FIG. has a slot 25 formed in the core 17. This slot 25 is intended for allow pivoting of the clamp 11 to its inactive position without the edge 6 of the back 4 of the shirt 1 does not suffer damage.

This slot 25 extends substantially longitudinally, when the clamp 11 is in the active position, from the bottom of the core 17 and upwards of the core 17, on a length of a few millimeters, for example 8 mm.

On the other hand, the slot 25 extends from the lower jaw 15 to mid-distance between the lower jaw 15 and the upper jaw 16.

Thus, when the cover 5 is in the open position and when the clamp 11 is in the inactive position, the core 17 does not come into abutment on the edge 6 of the back 4 of the shirt 1.

Indeed, part of the back 4 located near the edge 6 is housed in the slot 25. There is therefore no risk of damaging the back 4 by the clamp 11, when the clamp 11 is in the inactive position.

Furthermore, the fixing of the clamp 11 on the back 4 can be achieved by means of a rivet 22 traversing both the clamp 11 and the back 4.

For example, the lower jaw 15 is larger than the upper jaw 16, so as to have a free end portion 23 of the side of the core 17, near the edge 6, this end portion extending longitudinally beyond the upper jaw 16.

In this end portion 23 is made for example a through hole 24 to allow the passage of the rivet 22 during the combination of the clamp 11 to back 4.

Claims (14)

1. A presentation support for a document (2) consisting of one or a plurality of sheets (3), this support comprising:

   a back (4) intended to receive the said document (2); and

   a clamp (11) permanently associated with the said back (4) close to one edge (6) thereof, the clamp (11) being mounted so as to pivot about an axis of rotation (R), and sliding with respect to the back (4), between a so-called inactive position in which it is separate from the back (4), and an active position in which it at least partially covers it in order to grip the document (2) and to hold it on the back (4),

   the said presentation support being characterised in that the said clamp (11) is located close to a corner (8) of the back (4) in order to grip the document (2) by a corner (7) thereof and allow the manipulation of the document (2) by pivoting of the sheets (3) about the gripped corner (7) of the document (2).

A presentation support according to Claim 1, characterised in that the clamp (11) comprises a support surface (13) able to exert a clamping force on the document (2), this support surface (13) being inclined and/or having an edge (14) inclined with respect to the edge (6) of the back (4) of the support when the clamp (11) is in the active position.

A presentation support according to Claim 2, characterised in that the said clamp (11) is formed by a profile with a cross-section in the general shape of a U, produced from a metallic or plastics material and comprising a bottom jaw (15) and a top jaw (16), connected by a web (17) substantially parallel to the edge (6) of the back (4) in the active position, the top jaw (16) comprising, opposite the bottom jaw (15), a lip (12) comprising the said support surface (13), this lip (12) being inclined with respect to the core (17).
4. A presentation support according to Claim 3, characterised in that the top jaw (16) has a part curved towards the inside of the clamp (11) and forming the said lip (12).
5. A presentation support according to Claim 3 or Claim 4, characterised in that the lip (12) forms with the web (17) an angle of between 30 degrees and 60 degrees.
6. A presentation support according to Claim 5, characterised in that the lip (12) forms with the web (17) an angle of approximately 45 degrees.
7. A presentation support according to one of Claims 2 to 6, characterised in that the clamp (11) has a slot (25) formed in the web (17), the said slot (25) being such that, when the clamp (11) is in the inactive position, part of the back (4) comes to be housed in the said slot (25).
8. A presentation support according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that it comprises a tongue (19) forming a flap, connected to the back (4) by the edge (6) thereof and able to pivot with respect to the back (4) about the edge (6), the said tongue (19) being able to cooperate with the corner (7) of the document (2) in order to be interposed between the clamp (11) and the said document (2) when the clamp (11) is in the active position.

A presentation support according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the clamp (11) forms a lever with respect to its axis of rotation (R), the latter being off-centred downwards with respect to the clamp (11) so that the pivoting of the clamp (11) from its active position to its inactive position is performed in the anti-clockwise direction.
10. A presentation folder for a document (2) consisting of one or a plurality of sheets (3), the said folder (1) being characterised in that it comprises a presentation support according to one of Claims 1 to 9 and a cover (5).
11. A presentation folder according to Claim 10, characterised in that the cover (5) is connected to the back (4) and separated from it by a fold (6), the said cover (5) being able to move with respect to the back (4) and being able to adopt a so-called folded position in which it forms a substantially zero angle with the back (4) in order to substantially cover the document (2), and a so-called open position in which it forms a substantially flat angle with the back (4) in order to leave clear access to the document.
12. A presentation folder according to Claim 11, characterised in that the cover (5) comprises a recess (20) situated in one corner (21) of the cover (5) close to the fold (6), opposite the clamp (11), this recess (20) having a shape substantially complementary to the clamp (11), so as to allow opening of the cover (5) whatever the position of the clamp (11).
13. A presentation folder according to Claim 12, characterised in that it comprises a tongue (19) forming a flap, connected to the back (4) by the edge thereof, the said tongue (19) being able to cooperate with the corner (7) of the document (2) in order to be interposed between the clamp (11) and the said document (2) when the clamp (11) is in the active position, the said tongue (19) having a shape substantially complementary to the recess (20) formed in the cover (5), this tongue (19) being obtained by cutting this recess (20) in the cover (5).
14. A presentation set for a document (2) consisting of one or a plurality of sheets (3), comprising the said document (2), as well as a presentation support according to one of Claims 1 to 9 or a presentation folder (1) according to one of Claims 10 to 13.
