Abstract

The device includes a tube (9) inserted through an opening into a car engine crankcase so that its lower extremity reaches the engine oil sump. The tube is held by clips (11) attached to the crankcase inner wall. A conduit (4) lining the tube has its lower end placed below the minimum level of oil in the sump. The tube and the conduit define a guide (15) which is engaged by a blade (16). The blade terminates with a holder (17) provided with two washers (19).
