Abstract

Les ampoules électriques à baïonnette ont la caractéristique de se monter et de se démonter très rapidement. Il suffit en effet d'exercer une légère pression sur l'ampoule et de la tourner d'environ un huitième de tour pour la monter ou la démonter. Ceci est très intéressant pour l'entretien d'un bâtiment ou d'un véhicule ferroviaire mais facilite en contrepartie les vols. Ainsi, les services d'entretien des véhicules ferroviaires ont constaté des vols fréquents d'ampoules électriques dans les véhicules, en particulier dans les voitures-bars où l'on trouve souvent des vasques d'éclairage dont les ampoules sont facilement accessibles. Bayonet light bulbs have the characteristic of being assembled and disassembled very quickly.
