Abstract

The safety device is used in reservoirs of the type that have a float valve interposed between the upper part of the barrel and the suction pipe. The valve (7) is pushed by a float (8), independent of the valve, towards a sleeve (10) which extends towards the base of the usual centre (4). The diameter of the sleeve is greater than that of the valve. The sleeve is preferably disposed between the centre and the shaft (9). The float and the valve comprise two identical balls.
