Abstract

The dustbin has a main body (1) with an upper opening (9). A cover (2) pivoting about a horizontal axis has a hole (5) allowing access to the interior without raising the cover. A sack (6) with an opening (8) is placed inside the body (1) along the length of the body internal walls (7). The sack can be closed by a cord (12) placed in a hem (13) around the sack opening (8). - a cover (2) which can be folded down by pivoting about a horizontal axis (2A) to allow access to the bin, the cover (2) however having a hole (4) allowing access to the interior of the bin without lifting the cover (2);

- a bag (6) having an opening (8), placed inside the body (1), along the internal walls (7) of this body (1), so that the waste is stored there, characterized in that that closing means from the outside of the bag (6) are provided for closing the bag (6) without lifting the cover (2).

2. Trash can according to claim 1, characterized in that the bag closing means (2) comprise

- a closure cord (12) placed in a hem (13) around the opening (8) of the bag (6), two ends (11) of the cord (12) emerging from this hem (13) at a same place, the body (1) having a slot (14) on the edges of the opening (9) so that the two ends (11) of the cord (12) can be placed there, so as to allow the bag to be closed (6) from the outside, by pulling on the two ends (11) of the cord (12) without opening the cover (2).

3. Trash can according to claim 2, characterized in that the hem (13) has notches (23) leaving visible the cord (12), the internal walls (9) of the body (1) having temporary fixing means ( 15) of the cord (12) at the notches (23).

Trash can according to claim 2, characterized in that the cord (12) has a central part of a first determined color, the two ends (11) being of a second determined color different from the first color so that a once the bag (6) is closed by pulling on the two ends (11) of the cord (12), the central part of the cord (12) appears outside the bin when the bag (6) is closed.

5. Trash can according to claim 2, characterized in that the cord (12) has a gripping means (10) at each end (11).

6. Trash can according to claim 1, characterized in that the plug (5) is pivotally mounted around an inclined ramp (16) relative to the horizontal, so that the plug (4) is lifted at the start of its rotation from its closed position.

7. Trash can according to claim 6, characterized in that a seal (18) is placed around the plug (5) to seal the lid (2) of the trash can.

8. Trash can according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises

- an air intake fitted with a filter (20) and

- an air outlet (21) to allow the internal volume of the bin to be in communication with a vacuum device, so as to create ventilation inside the internal volume of the bin to extract the gaseous effluents from the waste contained in the bag (6).

9. Trash can according to claim 1, characterized in that the body (1) and the cover (2) are shielded to constitute a sealed trash vis-à-vis contaminating waste, for example radioactive waste, the bag (6) to be closed from the outside of the bin before opening the lid (2) and before removing it.

10. Bag of the “trash bag” type (6) intended to be used in a trash can according to one of the preceding claims and comprising a receptacle terminated by an opening (8), characterized in that it comprises a closure cord ( 12) placed in a hem (13) around the opening (8) and the two ends (11) of which open in the same place, notches (23) being formed in the hem (13) to leave the cord (12) visible at these locations.
