On connaît déjà des ensembles articulés, constituant des arrets de porte pour véhicules automobiles, qui comportent un bras monté à pivotement sur un axe entre les deux branches d'une chape et par l'intermédiaire d'une bague en acier à ressort. Les deux branches de la chape sont pourvues de perçages recevant l'axe d'articulation et la bague, placée autour de l'axe, est disposée par une extrémité dans le perçage de l'une des branches, tandis que l'autre extrémité se prolonge vers l'autre branche pour venir de préférence au contact de la face interne de cette branche.
