Abstract

A temporary door stop including a fixed knuckle (2), a movable knuckle (1) and a hinge pin (3) between the two knuckles (1, 2), is disclosed. Said door stop consists of a resilient metal part comprising a substantially rectangular base portion (5) secured to the hinge pin (3) and the movable knuckle (1), and a resilient T-shaped arm (9) with an end portion provided with at least one projection (10, 11) for engaging the fixed knuckle (2) when the door is opened or closed. A device for attaching said temporary door stop is also disclosed.

Provisional door stop for the hinge of a motor vehicle door, comprising a fixed knuckle (2) secured to the vehicle body, a movable knuckle (1) secured to the door of said vehicle and a hinge pin (3 ; 20; 30) of the two knuckles (1, 2), characterized in that it is formed by a piece (5, 9) of elastic metal comprising, on the one hand, a substantially rectangular sole (5) of attachment with the hinge pin (3; 20; 30) and the movable knuckle (1) and, on the other hand, an elastic arm (9) in the form of a T extending said sole (5) and whose end branch is provided with at least one raised part (10, 11; 16) intended to come into contact with the fixed knuckle (2) during the operation of the door.
