Abstract

The invention consists in the putting into place of the concept of the expendable motor for rotationally driving a tool using a motor of the pneumatic or hydraulic turbine type or of any other type, but characterised by a high rotational speed. The invention is composed of the motor 1, in this case a vane-type pneumatic turbine, force-fitted, on the rear part of the tool 2, the said rear part receiving the guide bearings 3 and 4, the latter being held in position by the spacer piece 5 and immobilized by the ring 7 clamped onto the said part, the whole thing being mounted on the bearing body 6. The said bearings 3 and 4 simultaneously fulfil the function of guiding the turbine and guiding the tool. Such an assembly composed of a restricted number of elements, each of them being simple, reliable, inexpensive, constitutes an entity, the life of which may be limited to that of the tool.
