Abstract

- The invention relates to a folding structure which can be used as a gangway and/or ladder, particularly in the nautical field, and which includes at least two portions (2, 3, 4) which are connected together by articulations. - Advantageously, the said articulations comprise plate elements which, in an articulated manner, connect the contiguous ends of the said portions (2, 3, 4) on the folding side of the latter, and a lever set in one of the said ends, on the side opposite the folding side, the said lever having a first arm provided with means capable of attaching to the other end, and a second actuating arm, the said plate elements and the said first arm being such that, in the attaching position, the said portions (2, 3, 4) are locked in a position of alignment.
