Abstract

Rear optical unit 1 for a motor vehicle, composed of a casing and a front cover plate 8 which includes at least one region 11 whose inner wall 12 is formed by back-reflector elements in order to fulfil a catadioptric (rear-reflector) function. According to the invention, a wire 13 forming a radio receiver aerial is solidly attached to the inner wall 12 of the aforementioned catadioptric region.
