Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to dosing caps for ensuring the withdrawal of a determined quantity of liquid contained inside a container.

Said dosing cap composed of a cap mounted on the container and a preferably conical cup-shaped structure, constituting a dosing device with a capacity equivalent to the volume of the product to be sampled, subject to the internal part of the bottom of said cap. by forced interlocking allows samples to be taken in the following way: firstly the container fitted with a dosing cap is turned upside down then at the place to fill. time the dosing cap is removed from said container and is then turned upside down and tilted to evacuate the sampled product
The dosing cap according to the invention is characterized in that
- the stopper has at least one internal lateral channel, implanted in its thread allowing its mounting on the container containing the product to be sampled, facilitating the evacuation of the sampled product
- the cup has a multiplicity of lateral openings allowing the free passage of the product to be taken from the container to the dispenser
and in that
- according to a first variant, said cup comprises
- a lateral longitudinal chute, the base of which constitutes a reservoir with a capacity at least equal to that of the metering device, attached to its outer wall, channeling the product withdrawn towards the outside
- a flange orienting the product taken from said tank
~ According to a second variant, the dosing cap comprises a skirt, adjoining either the bottom of said cap or the external wall of said cup, channeling the product taken outwards

Figure 16 is a longitudinal sectional view of a cup according to the second variant
In Figure 1 there is shown a dosing cap 1, mounted on a container 2, consisting of a cap 3 and a cup 4
In Figure 2 there is shown; in 3 a stopper having a thread 17 allowing its tight mounting on a container 2 ;; in 4 a cup, secured to the bottom of said stopper by forced fitting of its shoulder 7, characterized by part by the fact that the volume -of its upper internal part 10, located opposite the openings 5, is greater than that of the dispenser 6 which allows the filling of the latter by a simple retqur- nement upside down and then the location of the container 2 (the overflow escaping through said openings) and secondly by the fact that it is conical which facilitates the evacuation of the product withdrawn from the dispenser when the dosing cap is tilted 1
In Figures 3, 4 and 5 there is shown; in 7 the shoulder; in 5 the openings and in 6 the dispenser of a cup 4
In FIG. 6 are shown at 8 channels, implanted in the thread 17 of a plug 3, facilitating the evacuation of the product taken outside of the latter while preventing part of said product from being retained by said net
In Figure 7 there is shown a metering cap lA consisting of a cap 3-A and a cup 4-A
In FIG. 8 is shown, mounted on a container 2, a plug 3-A secured to a cup 4-A by means of its embossed ss boss by forcing in the upper internal part 10 of said cup having a shoulder 7 -A, of a height equivalent to that of said boss, provided with a flange 11 orienting the product taken from the reservoir 12 of a chute 13 intended to channel said product towards the outside of the stopper 1-A.
In FIGS. 9 and 10, there is shown in 4-A a cup comprising openings 5-A; a collar 11 tun reservoir 12 and a chute 13 comprising an extension 14 acting as a drip cutter preventing the product removed from flowing onto the bottom of said cup during its evacuation.
Sur la figure 15 on a représenté un bouchon 3-B comportant une jupe 15.In Figures 11 and 12 there is shown a stopper 1-B comprising a stopper 3 and a cup 4-B comprising a skirt 15 preventing the product taken from coming into contact with the internal wall of said stopper
In FIGS. 13 and 14, a skirt has been shown at 15, comprising notches 16 directing the product removed during its evacuation, and at 5 one of the openings of a cup 4-B
FIG. 15 shows a plug 3-B comprising a skirt 15.
In Figure 16 there is shown in 4-C a cup shaped to be secured to the bottom of the plug 3-B
The chute 13 and the skirt 15 prevent on the one hand that the product removed is in contact with the internal wall of the plug 3, 3-A, 3-B and on the other hand that the possible residue of said product may remain at the inside said stopper contaminates the container by flowing on its external wall
The dosing cap is used in the following manner
- firstly the container 2 on which a bouchondoseur 1, or 1-A, or 1-B is mounted is turned upside down, which allows the product to be taken contained in said container to enter the part upper internal 10 of the cup 4, 4-A, 4-B, 4-C as the case may pass freely through the openings 5, 5-A, then is returned to the place which allows said product to fill the dispenser 6 of said cup (the surplus returning to container 2)
- in a second step the dosing cap 1, or 1-A, or 1-B is removed from the container 2 and is either turned upside down then tilted or directly tilted above a receptacle, intended to receive the product sampled, or from a user's mouth
For the metering cap 1A before discharging the withdrawn product, care is taken on the one hand to tilt said metering cap to bring said product entirely into the reservoir 12 and on the other hand to position its chute 13 at the place
Preferably, the dosing cap is made of a suitable synthetic material by injection, for example
The foregoing description has been given by way of example only and does not in any way limit the field of the invention from which one would not depart by replacing the execution details described by any other equivalent.
