Abstract

The invention relates to a device for shading a window (1) in particular in a motor vehicle, comprising a flexible sheet (5) fitted at one of its ends with a pull bar (8) and fixed at its other end to the roller (6) of a winding mechanism which is mounted so as to rotate about its axis in a casing (7), this casing including means for attaching the device to a fixed structure (2) located close to the window (1). The attachment means consist in articulating the casing onto the structure (2), thereby enabling the said casing to pivot about a pin (9) which is perpendicular to the axis of the winding roller (6) and substantially orthogonal to the surface of the window (1) to be shaded.

Claims
