Abstract

The invention relates to a support slab, an article comprising this slab, a method for manufacturing the article, and application of this article. The slab comprises, on one face 1a, projections 2 which define between them positions for small plates which are fixed on the slab by means of a hardenable binding material, preferably deposited initially on the slab in the fluid pasty state. The slab on which the plates are fixed is intended in particular to be used as cladding.
