Abstract

La partie mentonnière du casque est constituée par deux coquilles mobiles (2,3), symétriques l'une de l'autre, liées respectivement aux régions latérales droite et gauche de la coque (1) du casque par exemple par des glissières latérales. Les deux coquilles (2,3) sont déplaçables entre une position avancée, dans laquelle leurs extrémités avant se rejoignent (en 4) dans le plan médian longitudinal du casque, et une position reculée, dans laquelle ces deux coquilles (2,3) sont escamotées et prennent place dans les régions latérales de la coque (1). En position avancée, les deux coquilles (2,3) sont réunies par des moyens de verrouillage(16). La face de l'utilisateur est entièrement dégagée lorsque les coquilles occupent leur position reculée. Ce casque est destiné plus particulièrement aux personnels de police et de gendarmerie.
