Abstract

The invention relates to covers which keep out gravel and which are used on the orifice of an outlet conduit for rainwater collected by roof terraces covered with gravel, of the type comprising a metal skirt, with perforated walls, surmounted by a plate covering its upper opening, and covering in turn, via its lower opening, the orifice of the outlet conduit. According to the invention, the upper plate (1) comprises a zone A having perforations (2) intended for the passage of the rainwater, and a zone B intended to serve as a support for inscriptions (3), in words and/or figures, raised in several levels with respect to the surface of their support B, each level being printed in a different colour.

Description

 The invention relates to gravel screen plugs for a rainwater evacuation duct orifice, of the type comprising a metal skirt, with perforated walls, surmounted by a plate covering its upper opening, and coming in, through its lower opening. , cover the hole in the exhaust duct.

 The known gravel screen plugs of the kind in question are of the types described in patent FR-2 225 595 by the same applicant and comprising a hollow body, in the form of a truncated cone, with a perforated skirt surmounted by a solid plate and coming to fit into the orifices of rainwater evacuation conduits - comprising a perforated skirt, delimited by four parallel sides in pairs, surmounted by a plate, also perforated, of metal (zinc, aluminum, copper or stainless steel) , fixed on the skirt (slide or other type of locking).

 The use of such stoppers has proven to be unreliable since it can easily be damaged by any individual placing his foot on the upper plate generally made of perforated metal having no characteristic of sufficient lift.

In addition, any possible registration relating to the manufacturer or the installer requires the production of separate identification plates which must be fixed on the upper plate of the strainer plug.

 The invention aims to produce a strainer plug of the kind in question in which the aforementioned drawbacks are eliminated.

To this end, it relates to an upper plate which has a first zone having perforations intended for the passage of rainwater and a second zone intended to serve as a support for verbal and / or figurative inscriptions.

Said plate, including the two zones with their perforations and inscriptions in relief, are produced in a single casting.

In addition, the raised inscriptions are made on several levels so as to be printed in different colors per level.

 The characteristics and advantages of the invention will appear more clearly on reading the following detailed description of a preferred embodiment of the invention given by way of example only and shown in the accompanying drawings.

 The gravel screen plug shown in the figures comprises 1) A skirt (4), having perforations (5), delimited by four inclined walls releasing a lower opening of superior dimensions from the upper opening: better bearing capacity and engagement skirts for storage and transport.

In the lower part, the skirt has an edge (6) bearing on the plane of the terrace.

In the upper part, the skirt has a bearing surface (7) on which the plate (1) will come to rest in order to be fixed thereto by means, for example, of foldable tongues (8).

Inscriptions can be made on both sides of the plate.

The skirt can be made of any type of metal, for example stamped.

The plate could for example be made of cast aluminum by molding.

 Of course, the invention is not limited to the embodiment described and shown for which we can provide other variants and extend it to other applications without departing from the scope of the invention.
