Abstract

Appliance for metering bread dough, of the type comprising a hopper the bottom of which consists of the lateral surface of a drum given an alternating oscillating movement, the said drum having a diametral cavity which passes right through it and inside which a piston 1 is housed. This piston 1 moves back, sucking in the dough to be metered when the cavity of the drum is substantially vertical and moves forward, expelling the dough, when the cavity of the drum is substantially horizontal. This appliance comprises, also fixed to its supporting structure, a stop-piece 5 which, by acting on the peg 3 secured to the rod 4 of the piston 1, when the latter is at the end of its suction movement, prevents it from moving back owing to the elasticity of the dough, when the said peg 3 loses contact with the hooking snout which would force it to descend.
