Abstract

Procédé d'adressage d'un écran d'affichage à cristaux liquides ferroélectriques à phase smectique chirale comportant une cellule enfermant le cristal, munie sur ses parois de deux systèmes matriciels de conducteurs lignes et de conducteurs colonnes, caractérisé en ce que les signaux de ligne VLi ont, une amplitude VL et une durée suffisantes pour que le seuil de commutation VT seuil de l'état blanc ou de l'état noir soit dépassé pour chaque pixel avant l'arrivée de la partie active de l'impulsion d'écriture VC.
