Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an automatic feeding device for oyster graders of all kinds (linear or circular). More specifically, it is a device responsible for separating the oysters deposited in bulk in a hopper, and bitter them one by one on a grader; once calibrated, they will be taken up manually or by conveyor belt to be packed and shipped.
The sizing of this seafood is a real problem because of the cost it entails. In fact, there is currently no fully automatic feed for oyster graders. This task requires the permanent presence of one or two people, hence a significant production cost. The present invention intends to overcome this problem by proposing an improvement to existing processes. To this end, by referring to mx drawings n01,2, human intervention is limited to depositing oysters in bulk in the hopper (1-2) of the elevator (1-1) which pours them into the cylinders (1-8) and (1-10) which have the purpose of aligning them and pouring them onto the separating belts (1-11) and (1-13 ) which feed the grader (2-17)
All the materials used having direct contact with the product, are adapted according to the demand of the food hygiene services.
The invention will be better understood during the description given below by way of purely indicative and non-limiting example, which will make it possible to identify the secondary characteristics and advantages.
I1 will therefore be referred to the appended drawings in which: - the drawing n01, illustrated by a front and top view, schematizes the device for aligning and separating oysters.
Referring first to drawing n01 we see the elevator (1-1) of conventional construction comprising a hopper (1-2) in folded sheet which allows to receive a sufficient quantity of oysters in bulk. The cleat mat is designed with a width calculated according to the length of the cleats (1-4), in order to mount the quantity of oysters desirable for the proper functioning of the innovation.
The movement of oysters continues in the cylinder (1-6), via the chute (1-5) which provides the cylinder lifting link. All the elements mounted on the chassis (1-7) aim to align and separate the oysters; in fact, the oysters arrive in a more or less defined quantity in the cylinder (1-6) which is rotated by the belt (1-8) and the motor (1-9); in this first cylinder, they begin to stretch, then they slide in the cylinder (1-10) of diameter less than (1-6) which also is driven in rotation; This cylinder, by its diameter and its speed of rotation, ensures perfect alignment of the oysters in a single row. As soon as they exit, they are taken up by the mat (1-11) designed to be narrow in width1 so as to transport only one oyster at a time across its width. The oysters are then taken up by the mat (1-13) which, due to the relativity of its speed with respect to the mat (1-11) allows the oysters to be separated at the desired pace.
These two belts, (1-11) and (1-13) consist of a roller at the rear and a saber at the front with a small radius, so as to obtain the minimum fall and perfect separation oysters. These two belts are driven by the gearmotor (1-I2).
Referring to drawing n02, which happens to be the continuation of drawing n01, the distribution system of oysters on the grader will be highlighted. Indeed, following the carpet (1-13), synchronized with the grader (2-17), the oysters drop one by one in the fixed U-shaped chute (2-14), from where they are taken up one by one by the flags (2-15) which aim to drive them in rotation and to slide them into the bottom of the chute (2-14) to the end of the latter, so that they fall in the cups (2-16) of the grader (2-17)
These flags are integral with the grader (2-17) and therefore animated by the same rotational movement via the flat irons (2-18) which are positioned above each dish, so that the oysters fall without fail in each of these. The oyster is then transported by this cup until it drops according to its size.
We therefore obtain with this device a quality of work and a production cost greatly reduced due to the total elimination of one or two people.
The invention finds an interesting application in the field of shellfish farming. It is not limited to the description which has just been given, but on the contrary covers all the variants which could be made to it, without departing from its scope or its spirit.
