Abstract

The invention relates to a toothbrush whose handle, which can be detached from the brush, is equipped with a housing for a toothpaste-metering device. The toothbrush 1 includes a handle 3, which can be detached from the brush 2, equipped with a housing 5 into which the metering device 4 is inserted. An opening 12, produced at the upper part 8 of the handle 3, ensures the passage of the pusher 6 of the metering device 4. When the user exerts pressure on this pusher 6, a measure of toothpaste is released via an orifice 7 located at the upper part 8 of the handle 3. The brush 2, once fastened on its handle 3, closes off this orifice 7. The toothbrush according to the invention is intended preferably for the use of metering devices of small and medium capacity.

Description

 The present invention relates to a toothbrush provided with a housing for a toothpaste dispenser.

 Usually to brush your teeth, you use the toothbrush and the tube or the toothpaste dispenser. This results in the use of two separate utensils.

 The toothbrush provided with a housing for a toothpaste dispenser according to the invention overcomes this drawback. It includes a handle, separable from the brush provided with a housing into which the metering device is inserted. An opening made in the upper part of the handle ensures the passage of the dispenser plunger. When the user exerts pressure on this pusher, a dose of toothpaste is released through an orifice located at the top of the handle. The brush once fixed on its handle, ensures the sealing of this orifice.

 According to a preferred embodiment, a dose of toothpaste is released through the orifice of the handle, thanks to a pressure exerted at the base of the dispenser.

 According to a first variant, the system for fixing the brush on its handle is ensured by fitting combined with a screwing system by ring.

 According to a variant shake, the system for attaching the brush to its handle is provided by a retainer.

 According to a third variant, the brush is fixed on its handle by a screwing system, of which the brush is the male element.

 According to a fourth variant, the brush is fixed to its handle by a screwing system, of which the brush is the female element.

 The overall view represented by FIG. 1 shows the toothbrush (1) with on the one hand the brush (2) and on the other hand its handle (3) with its housing (5) and its orifice (7 ). The latter (3) revealing the dispenser (4). An opening (1) made in the upper part (8) of the handle (3) ensures the passage of the plunger (6) of the dispenser (4).

 In the overview shown in Figure 2 we see the toothbrush (1) with its brush (2) and its handle (3) holding the dispenser (4). This type of toothbrush (1) uses the pressure system at the base of the dispenser (4).

 Figure 3 shows the handle (3) with its housing (5), its opening (12) and at its upper part (8) the orifice (7) through which the dose of toothpaste is released.

 Figure 4 shows us the brush attachment system (2) by fitting. A shoulder (16) executed at one of the ends (17) of the brush (2) reinforces this fixing.

 The dispenser (4) shown in Figure 5 comprises a pusher (6) and a projection (11). This figure also shows the base (13) of the dispenser (4).

 The handle (3) and its pressure system at the base (13) of the dispenser (4) shown in Figure 6 is defined as follows. A dose of toothpaste is released through the orifice (7) of the handle (3) thanks to a pressure exerted at the base (13) of the dispenser (4) thus allowing the pusher (6) of the latter (4) to come in. abutment against a stopper (14) located on the upper wall (15) of the handle (3). On the other hand slides (9) executed longitudinally and on the wall (10) of the handle (3) ensure the engagement of the latter (4) in the housing (5) of the handle (3).

 The brush attachment system (2) on its handle (3), shown in Figure 7, is provided by fitting combined with a screwing system by ring (18). This ring (18) provided with a thread (19), located at one of the ends (17) of the brush (2), is screwed onto another thread (20) executed at the level of the upper part (8) of the handle (3).

 The brush fixing system (2) on its handle (3), represented by FIG. 8 is ensured by a stopper (21) placed at one of the ends (17) of the brush (2) coming to take position in an opening (22) located on the upper wall (15) of the handle (3). To separate the brush (2) from its handle (3), the user exerts pressure on the retainer (21) to release it from the opening (22).

 The attachment of the brush (2) to its handle (3) shown in FIG. 9 is measured by a screwing system, with the brush (2) as a male element. The brush (2) provided at one of its ends (17) with a threaded extension (23), is screwed into the upper part (8) of the handle (3) also provided with a thread (24).

 The brush (2) is fixed on its handle (3, represented by the figure (10), is ensured by a screwing system, with the brush (2) as female element. The brush (2) provided inside one of its ends (171 of a thread (25) is screwed onto the threaded extension (26) of the handle (3).

 1) Toothbrush (1) provided with a housing for toothpaste dispenser (4) characterized in that it comprises a handle (3), separable from the brush (2), provided with a housing (5; in which the metering device (4) is introduced. An opening (12) made in the upper part (8) of the handle (3) ensures the passage of the pusher (6) of the metering device (4). this pusher (6), a dose of toothpaste is released by an orifice (7) located at the upper part (8) of the handle (3) .The brush (2), once fixed on its handle (3), ensures the 'closing of this orifice (7).  2) Product according to claim 1 characterized in that slides! 9) executed longitudinally and on the wall (10) of the handle (3) guide the metering device (4).  3) Product according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that projections (II), executed on the wall (10) of the handle (3), and on the metering device, ensure the engagement of the latter (4) in the housing (5) of the handle (3).  4) Product according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a dose of toothpaste is released through the orifice (7) of the handle (3), thanks to a pressure exerted at the base (13) of the dispenser (4) thus allowing i to the pusher (6) of the latter (4) to abut against a stopper (14) located on the upper wall (15) of the handle (3).  5) Product according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the brush fixing system (2) on its handle (3) is ensured by fitting.
