Egg box comprising a bottom (1) and a cover (2) delimited by a peripheral edge joined integrally by a hinge (3) along a longitudinal edge of the box, made of thermoformed thin plastic material and comprising a plurality of cavities (4, 7) forming egg-receiving cells, characterized in that a bowl (15) made of rigid thin material is fixed by gluing on at least one part of the external surface of the bottom or of the cover, the bowl comprising peripheral edges which engage in recesses recessed provided along the peripheral edge of the bottom or cover.

2. Egg box according to claim 1, characterized in that the edges (21) of the bowl (16) engage in hollow grooves (15) formed along the peripheral edge of the bottom or cover.
