Abstract

The invention relates to a writing device for recorders with two chart holder discs, comprising a fixed table 105, a movable table 107 pivotally mounted about an axis 300, a writer member 110 pivotally mounted about a fixed axis 112, and drive means 116, 117 causing the writing member 110 to pivot when the movable table 107 is raised. In accordance with the present improvement, the device comprises a movable arm 170, having at least one tab 140, 141, 174 forming a return above the fixed table 105 in the area of the writing organ 110. The movable arm 170 can be moved by the writing organ into a disengaged position in which said writing organ is protected, and in which the setting place of a chart holder disc on the fixed table 105 can be easily done. Application to road recorders with two chart holder discs, in accordance with a so-called two-driver use.

Description

The invention relates to a listing device for recording

  tractors with two chart disks, such as road recorders,

  generally called tachographs.

  Simultaneous recording on a second disc

  diagram is made necessary in some applications; in particular, with the road recorders, this makes it possible to record the variation of an auxiliary parameter, for example the working and rest time of a second driver, while the first portediagram disk is concerned with the recording of several usage data (vehicle speed, usage time, distance traveled), and possibly consumption or engine speed in the case where the latter is the only one used. Diagram discs used as recording media must be easily placed in the recorder,

  and their extraction must be possible without altering the record obtained.

  These manipulations are delicate in the case of a use of two

  discs arranged in parallel and rotating in synchro-

  ism; this is why the listing devices generally comprise support means and writing organs having a structure whose simplicity is difficult to accommodate the compactness required for

the recorder boxes.

  In the main patent, it was proposed to carry out a

  inscribing device of simple structure, allowing a recording mode

  specified by means of a scripting organ placed between two

  Diagram holder, with an inter-disk distance as small as possible.

  The object of the present invention is to improve the

  aforementioned device, in order to facilitate the installation of a disc bearing

  diagram on the fixed table, when the mobile table is raised.

  Indeed, according to a particular embodiment of the device described in the main patent, the fixed table included at least one leg forming a return of the periphery of said fixed table in the area of the writing organ, said return being raised from such so that the upper portion of the writing organ support and / or the writing organ is stepped when said writing organ is in the release position; in particular, the tab closest to the pivot axis of the writing organ support had an inclined upper edge, for example about 5, to facilitate the introduction of the disk-diagram

  However, it appeared that such fixed legs, certainly favorable for the protection of the writing organ when the mobile table was

  raised, made it more difficult to install the disc bearing the

  diagram: indeed, the edge of the disk had to be inserted under the legs and the writing organ, that is to say in a free space whose height was

  The object of the present improvement is to further facilitate the installation of the chart-disc by a better clearance, without compromising the protection of the writing organ, which could be hooked and damaged during this setting in place, and without this entailing an excessive complication of the structure. It is more particularly a device of the aforementioned type, characterized in that it further comprises a movable arm disposed between the fixed table and the inner face of the door, said movable arm having at least one leg forming a returning above said fixed table in the area of the writing organ, said movable arm being movable by an associated actuating means between a retracted position, in which the at least one leg is adjacent to the edge of the fixed table, and a release position, in which said one or more tabs are disengaged from said fixed table and protect said writing organ which, when the mobile table is raised, is automatically disposed under the return of the one or more of said tabs, which then facilitates the setting in place of a chart disk

on said fixed table.

  Preferably, the movable arm is pivotally mounted about an axis substantially perpendicular to the plane of the inner face of the door; a particularly simple and compact structure is obtained by providing that the axis of the movable arm is the fixed axis around which the support of

the writing organ.

  According to an advantageous characteristic, the movable arm has substantially the shape of a U, one branch of which is traversed by the axis of pivoting of said arm, and whose other branch slides under the fixed table during

  moving said arm so as to promote the guidance thereof.

  Preferably, elastic means are provided for

  Before describing more precisely the object of the present improvement, it is necessary to briefly recall how the various means already described in the main patent are arranged. There is thus a door 102, normally hinged to the housing (not shown) of the device, with a support ring or disc tray 104.   The inner face 106 of the door 102 has two bores 126, 127, respectively receiving the pins 112 and 120, said pins passing in oblong slots 128 and 129 of said slider. Thus, the axis 112 passes through the lumen 128 of the slider 117, through a bore 131 of the writing organ support 111, and penetrates without flush in a piercing 138 of the fixed table 105; the axis 120 passes in the lumen 129 of the slide, in a hole 130 of the drive lever 119, and penetrates without touching in a piercing 139 of the fixed table 105.   The writing organ 110 comprises a rear portion 145 fixed under the upper portion 115 of the writing organ support by rivets 149 and pins 150, and a front portion 146 having an inscription point 147; the portions 145 and 146 are connected by a central recess 148. It should be noted that the rear portion 145 here has a curved shape along the curved outer contour of the upper portion 115 of the writing organ support, in order to define

  an outer guide blade as will be explained later.

  The fixed table 105 has the shape of a half-crown whose central recess 151 leaves the passage of the disc tray 104 of the door, while the mobile table 107 is complete, with a recess

  central 152 for the same passage of the disk tray. A relatively rigid rear support 153 is added to the mobile table 107, in order to strengthen it, said support having two connecting flanges 154 ending in a bearing portion 108 defining the pivot axis 300 already mentioned above. Two rods 159 are received in these bearings to form the axis of articulation of the mobile table 107. The rotation connection between the mobile table 107 and the drive pinion 116 is here ensured by a projecting groove 161 of the pinion 116, and a throat

  counterpart 160 of the corresponding step 108.

  The small thickness of the mobile table 107 makes it possible to obtain an extremely reduced inter-disk distance: when the two portediagram disks are arranged on the drive shaft 162, there is a natural contact of the two disks in the central zone of the disk. drive, and the securing lug 163 holds said disks against the support ring 104.   We will now focus on describing in detail the object of the present improvement, which aims to further facilitate the introduction of the disk-diagram, thanks to a better clearance, without

  as long as it undermines the protection of the writing organ.

  In the main patent, the fixed table included legs forming a return of the periphery in the area of the writing organ: in this way, the upper limb of the legs protected the writing organ, but this implied that the operator inserts the portediagram disk under these legs and under the writing organ, that is to say in a free space whose height was of the order of I to 1.5 mm.   For this purpose, there is provided a movable arm 170 disposed between the fixed table 105 and the inner face 106 of the door, said movable arm having at least one leg forming a return above said fixed table in the area of the writing organ 110: according to an essential characteristic of the present improvement, the movable arm 170 can be moved by an associated actuating means between a retracted position, in which the aforementioned tab or tabs are adjacent to the edge of the fixed table 105, and a disengagement position, in which said at least one leg is disengaged from said fixed table and protects the writing organ 110, this being automatically disposed under the return of the one or more said

  when the mobile table is raised, which then makes it easier to

  Thus, the protective abutment system associated with the writing organ is no longer rigidly secured to the fixed table, but on the contrary carried a movable member allowing the release of said tabs relative to the

  Given the small space available between the fixed table and the upper face 106 of the door, it is necessary to reduce to a minimum the parts used to make this mobile stop system, without impairing the efficiency of the system. Thus, the mobile arm 170 is advantageously pivotally mounted about an axis substantially perpendicular to the plane of the inner face 106 of the door, this axis preferably being the fixed axis 112 around which the support 111 of the writing organ. Thus, the movable arm 170 has substantially the shape of a flat U, one branch 171 is traversed by the axis 112 of pivoting of said arm, and the other branch 172 slides under the fixed table 105 during the movement of said arm , so as to promote the guidance thereof. It is also useful to provide resilient means, here represented as a spring 173, for constantly biasing the movable arm 170 toward the retracted position thereof. In the example described, the movable arm 170 1o l2622995 carries two protective tabs 140, 141, under which is housed the front portion 146 of the writing organ 110 when the movable table 107 is raised; the movable arm 170 also carries an additional tab 174 under which the outer edge of the rear portion 145 of the writer unit 110 permanently passes, which provides additional guidance of the writing organ in all the angular positions of the support 111 of

  this one. In the exploded view of Figure 1, only partial

  the rear portion 145 of the writing organ, but the views of Figures 2 and 4 which will be described later allow to distinguish the outer edge 175 of the rear portion, which slightly out of the portion 115 of its support: it is conceivable easily that this edge 175 shaped curved blade always passes under the additional tab 174 to

  It is also necessary to organize in a simple and reliable way the actuating means associated with the mobile arm 170: according to a particularly advantageous embodiment illustrated here, this function is provided by the writing organ 110 itself, which directly drives said mobile arm when the mobile table 107 is raised. Thus, when one begins to raise the mobile table 107, the slider 117 rotates the writing organ support 111 from its registration position to a

  partial release position corresponding to the illustration of Figure 2.

  In this position, the front portion of the writing organ is housed under the protective tabs 140, 141. It is then that begins, when we continue to raise the mobile table 107, a new additional release phase, here carried out by direct drive. Indeed, the writing organ rotates the movable arm 170 against the action of the spring 173, until one reaches the position shown in Figure 4. In this new release position, it is easy to see that the access to the upper face of the fixed table 105 is substantially total, so that the operator can set up a chart carrier disc without the risk of hanging the writing organ, and without having to insert it from the periphery of it in a space of very low height. After placing a chart disk, the mobile table 107 is then folded, which brings the various elements first in the position of Figure 2, then in the recording position in which the writing organ has still rotated towards the center of the disc. The device is then ready for the establishment of a second disk-diagram, disposed on the mobile table 107 and folded. In order to prevent the mobile table 107 from resting on the diagram disk placed first, it is advantageously provided with a stop system, here illustrated by a lug 184 of the fixed table 105, and a homologous lug. 185 protruding at the periphery of said movable table. The mobile table 107 also has, as in the framework of the device of the main patent, a peripheral notch 142 dimensioned such that the passage is possible for the upper part 115 of the writing organ support when said mobile table is folded: this makes it possible to make a direct contact between the transcription device 110 and the mobile table 107 in the folded position of

  It is also advantageous to further provide a locking member for holding open the mobile table 107 when the movable arm 170 is in the extended position, and the writing organ has reached a release position in which it is located beyond the periphery provided for the chart disc. This function is here ensured by a locking member 176, illustrated with a slight lateral shift in FIG. 1 so as not to complicate the understanding thereof. The locking member 176 is preferably disposed between the fixed table 105 and the inner face 106 of the door, and is designed so as to cooperate with the elongated slide 117, so that the locking occurs automatically when said slide has reached a position corresponding to a predetermined degree of opening of the mobile table 107. In the particular embodiment shown here, the locking member 176 is mounted oscillating about an axis substantially parallel to the inner face 106 of the door; this axis is represented here by two lateral pins 177 which can be clipped under two legs (no

  shown) projecting on the underside of the fixed table 105.

  Other arrangements may naturally be provided, so as to make the various constituent bodies compatible with other optional functions. Thus, it will be noted the presence of an oblong curved opening 189 formed in the fixed table 105, this opening allowing the passage of an inscription pen corresponding to

  a rev counter for the driver disk of the second driver.

  The inscribing device of the invention thus allows a particularly precise recording mode by means of a writing organ arranged between two disk-disks, which are perfectly fixed and centered, without the risk of a relative slip which would introduce a

  error in the interpretation of the recordings.
